Ok...anyone else having constipation issues? I didn't have this with dd, but it seems a little early to have these issues anyway. My prenatals have iron, but I've been taking them for months without constipation...
Anyone else?

I do... but I have to say it's my favorite symptom so far. I had my gallbladder out 10 months ago and have had daily diarrhea ever since. So this "constipation" has turned me back into a normal human being.

I had it very badly with my son's pregnancy, so I know this is what it is. I'm just seriously glad for it - I was afraid for Zy's health if I'd be (so sorry for the terminology) losing it from both sides.

Last preg, I was taking prenatals with iron prior to pregnancy, and they were fine then, but during preg, they gave me big time constipation. Once I got off of them and switched to alfalfa (on midwife's advice at 12 weeks), the constipation stopped.

So I'd try switching to a prenatal with a different type of iron or maybe even a regular multivitamin with no iron and use an herbal source for iron. Talk to your care provider about alternatives.
