I've been sleeping like gangbusters since I got pregnant! One day it was like 12 hours straight! Thank goodness dh is on spring break and taking care of my dd.
Anyone else super fatigued? I didn't feel like this with my last pregnancy but definitely had more morning sickness last time. Now I'm just starving! Maybe it's a boy. :wink

I'm the same way (though not getting the sleep... I need to make some room-darkening curtains for my son's room so he stops getting up with the sun). I've been napping with him, though - and if I sleep with him for naps, he'll go 3-4 hours... so I do, too :thumb
As for your second paragraph... everything you said is the same. Maybe (for me) it's a girl this time :lol

I slept like a LOG last night, going to bed way early and getting up late when the cat jumped on me. :lol DS was already awake, so probably a good thing - I think he might have been up for a little while before I woke up. He plays in his crib if he wakes up early.
I've been getting more tired in the afternoons lately, but not TOO fatigued yet. I'm only 5w1d though. Yesterday, I had what appears to have been an allergic reaction to something (possibly the prenatal vitamins - wierd!), as I had itchy rash in several places, and the balls of my feet went partially numb. Really weird. The nurse told me to take Benadryl, so I took one last night before dinner, and that made me SO tired. So I'm not sure if my sleep last night was due to the Benadryl or pregnancy. I only took one pill around 5:20pm, and went to bed at 8pm. I woke up at 6:45am, again, only because the cat jumped on top of me. :lol
Luckily, the rash is gone today and no numbness in my feet. Phew! I didn't take the prenatal yesterday, and plan to not take them over the weekend, but will start them up again the beginning of the week and see if I get the same reaction. Then I'll either have ruled those out (and can still use them) or will know that they were the culprit. I can't think of anything else new that I was exposed to this week! Very weird. I'd taken 2 prenatal vitamins when the itching started, so that's why they are the top suspect at this point.
Anyway... the BIG fatigue hasn't hit me yet, but probably will in the next week or two, along with the morning sickness stuff. Last preg, I didn't throw up, but I just felt constantly queasy for maybe 4 weeks? Sometimes I came close to throwing up, but was able to deep breathe it out. I've had to do that a couple times last week due to strange smells - I think someone dumped chicken manure on their pasture near here, because one afternoon it smelled big time of manure, and I hadn't stepped in anything! :lol I did my farm chores as quickly as I could, because I couldn't deep breathe my sickness out without getting MORE of the smell. :p

I've been sleeping about 11-12 hrs at night. I can't get comfy to nap during the day, I wish. I am so fatigued by about 8 pm that I just feel sick sick.:(
Has anyone else been tossing and turning all night though. It's like I can't get and stay comfy.

I have been sooo tired! I even said to my baby's father that it feels like I need eight hours of sleep for every two to three hours of being awake. I have to make myself stay up until 8 p.m. each night and I feel exhausted by 5 p.m. I slept from 8 p.m to 7 a.m. a few nights this week and I was still tired after that!

I was fine last week but it's really hit this week. If I don't get a nap with DD I am GROUCHY!!! Good thing the other girls are old enough to fend for themselves for a couple hours. :lol

The fatigue has been the worst symptom to deal with. It has taken over my life. I nap after work from 5:00-7:00, and go to bed at 9:00, only to get up and do it all over the next day. Luckily my boss has been very understanding and I'm reducing my work hours to 32 hours/week for the time being.

Fatigue is my main symptom now too. I'm even napping when DS is at J-K in the afternoon and going to bed by 9pm.
I'm like you, Sheacoby, too in that I keep tossing and turning all night; never feel really rested in the morning b/c of it.
I'm just thankful that I haven't got the bad headaches and nausea that I did with DS. So far, so good anyways.

I'm tired too. It's been hitting me mid morning, where I can't wait till it's ds's nap time. I've been sleeping then, but only sleep for 1/2 hour yet feel soooooooooooo much better. W/ ds I didn't get tired this early.

I am tired to the middle of my bones. It's ridiculous - I don't remember it being this bad last time. I'm positively narcoleptic by mid-afternoon, and I've been going to bed at 8:30 or 9 every night with DD. Unfortunately, I'm not sleeping too well at night - our bed is too hard! I think when my house guest leaves on Tuesday, I'm moving to the guest room, where the bed is perfectly cushy.

Fatigue is what I remember being the hardest with my last pregnancy. This one is the same, except I don't have the opportunity to nap as much. So I go to bed early and catch little naps when I can.
I tend to gag when I change dd's morning diaper, and I get queasy if I don't keep something in my stomach, but no puking.
The tiredness is like living in a fog all afternoon. The crazy thing is, it goes away as soon as the baby is born (at least for me). No matter how tired I was caring for an infant, it was nothing next to being pg.
My goal after this pregnancy is to just be home, so I don't have to be going all the time. I can't wait to *just* be a mom!!!

I'm tired, but no where near as tired as I was with my dd.
I have noticed tossing and turning...and a few mornings this week I woke up around 4-5am and had a hard time going back to sleep. Not sure why....?
I've been fending off the morning sickness with a small bowl of Life cereal beside my bed...every morn I eat it before I roll out. Seems to be working...but this time I am getting morning sickness all day, not just in the AM. So I use the SeaBands...

I'm just plain tired -- not exhausted. Some days I am close, though.

I was really tired as soon as I got pg due to not being able to sleep, then I felt pretty good, now I am just exhausted. I still recovering from a nasty bug, today DH and I started fixing up our other house. We have a month to redo all the floors, paint (not me of course), fix up the rest of the inside and outside and move. :( I'm getting ready to pass out just thinking of all the work I have to do while I am so tired to begin with.

I'm STILL soooo tired but now morning sickness has set in. I've tried Emetrol, Phenergan, Tigan, meclizine, seabands, Tums, Zantac, Gingerale, nothing helps. I'm not throwing up, just dry heaves! Yuck!

I've had this really strange combination of utter exhaustion (in bed FAST asleep every night at 9) and waking up at the drop of a hat. I'm a snooze-button junkie, but recently I'm wide awake the first time my alarm goes off. It actually seems like the baby doesn't want me to get any more sleep, just to change my sleep schedule.

I'm 9 weeks from conception and 11 weeks from the first day of my last MP. I'm currently working two 20 hour a week jobs and one is in a neonatal/pediatric icu and I don't get home until 10pm! It was all I could do to make it home from one job, try to get a decent meal in and a nap and then go to the hospital one. I'd still come home exhausted to my bones!!! It seems to be getting a little better but now I'm getting up 3-4 times a night to pee!!!

VERY tired, here. My almost 4 year old DD has been waking at 2 am for the last couple of weeks....then she gets up around 6. Ugh. The last couple of nights were a bit better, so hopefully she'll get back to her old self and sleep through the night.

The exhaustion has just gotten worse for me. Someone mentioned feeling narcoleptic... that's perfect. I'll be fine - talking on the phone, checking email, crocheting... then BOOM I'm falling asleep. And last night, I woke up screaming my head off (like, 2 screams a second for about 15-20 seconds) only an hour after going to bed... then asking my husband if everything was okay when he woke me up. That freaked me out - and I don't remember a bad dream or anything along with it.

Its ridiculous! I don't remember this with any of my other pregnancies! I slept 11 hours last night and I was falling asleep on the sofa, so DH told me to take a nap and he would take DD out and about. I slept 2 hours!!!
But I think the nighttime sleep is because I am taking Unisom/B6 to cut my nausea so that I can fall asleep. I take it at 8 pm and by 9:30 I drag myself off to bed.... Fortunatley DD sleeps pretty much from 7 to 7, so its doable.

I guess I'm not the only one then! I was starting to feel so guilty that I was craving sleep! (like I used to crave coffee, iykwim!). Am I the only one having the craziest dreams though??? Not nightmares as such, just really really vivid, intense dreams....strange:innocent
I feel so bad for dd that I haven't really got the energy that I should, but we're spending a lot of time reading together, and she seems to be cool with that....
