I'm 18 weeks pregnant today. I was thinking "Yay! Almost halfway!" but then had to remind myself that 18 weeks pregnant is 16 weeks gestation so I actually have 4 more weeks to go before the 20 week mark.

Do you use weeks pregnant or weeks gestation to keep track of where you are in your pregnancy? Or do you even care? :lol

I use weeks pregnant. I feel like I've accomplished more saying I'm 16 weeks rather than 14 :lol . Besides at the end, it's really much more fun to freak people out when you tell them you're 42 weeks instead of 40. :mischief

I alway go by weeks pregnant. Honestly I like being farther along. Towards the end I always want to be less pregnant so I can be pregnant longer. Yes, I am insane LOL. I just love to be pregnant.

None of my pregnancies have gone to 40 weeks. I was induced with dd, induced with second pregnancy at 35w1d (twins) and my water broke at 35w6d (twins again) with my third pregnancy. I'm actually hoping to go past due with this pregnancy, just so I can have the whole thing. Also I want to be the one stomping around saying is this baby ever going to come out! I've never been able to say that before. Call me crazy :)

It seems easier to use the LMP vs. gestation.... unless you are UPing...then it really doesn't matter what you call it... you have no one to answer to or agree with.

Okay, I'm lost. I use my LMP; I'm at 15 weeks that way. I thought baby was 'due' at 40 weeks after LMP but normal is anywhere from 38-42. I don't really care, I'm due September 15th and tell everyone not to expect anything until October 10th or later. Or as early as August 20th. Who knows, right?

Lunar months. I get a really big kick out of telling people I'm 10 months pregnant.

Haha, I use lunar months too. Helps me justify my big belly too! :)

a guesstimate of lunar months- I usually don't remember, so I sputter with 4, no 5, no 6, no 5! months when random people ask me.
