i had to go to the PO and get some swap pkgs. out, pick up ds2's cake for his bday and grab some pizza (we have a tradition the bday person has his choice of dinner and ds2 chose pizza! yuk!). anyway, i expressed 4 oz of milk and was out of here for AT MOST AN HOUR!!
i forgot to charge my cellphone over the weekend and didn't realize it, but of course i had it with me. i tried to call the pizza place but my phone was dead, so of course i had to go by there and order then off to run my errands which added about 10-15 minutes to my time out of the house.
needless to say, when i came back, i was confronted with "what took you so long"..."where were you", "why didnt you answer your phone". lol!!!
apparently, after being given 1 oz. of milk from teh bottle, Ethan wasnt interested. DH is now convinced he is teething!! He has shown almost no signs of teethign to me and was fine when i got home..no screaming for the rest of the night. ROFLMAO!!!!!!!
as soon as i latched him on to the booby he was golden!! :)
pretty stubborn kiddo, huh? this was the first time ive done this and i dont think i will be doing it again anytime soon...i missed him while i was gone too..sick, huh???

It's not called babysitting when your DH has them...it's called parenting! :lol

I've been taking classes 2x/week from 7-9:30, so DH has both boys then. However, he also had a grad class this Thursday night (his go 2 weekends, Thurs. & Fri night and all day Saturday, thankfully this is the final weekend and no more until summer) so my parents came down to watch Luke and Aaron. Apparently they are not as skilled as DH at convincing Luke that the bottle really is as good as booby, as he apparently screamed his head off for 45 minutes, refused the bottle, and then fell asleep.

And no, you're not crazy...I drive home from class at 10 pm, run upstairs and hug and kiss a sleeping Aaron, and then feed my sweet little baby...I miss them like mad!

that was a slip of the tongue and i totally agree...but dh thinks its babysitting. i try to make the point often, but i guess i have been "sucked" into his way of thinking.
and after last night, i guess he wont be doing any babysitting or parenting for awhile (at MY choosing, not his).
