So what causes this cramping?

This is my first time with this! I read the below post on who's cramping, but didn't really get why it happens. I thought AF was coming Friday, went ahead and tested (positive) Saturday, but still have some mild cramping on and off today. I just wondered what was going on down there (it just seems that everything's so small I shouldn't be feeling it yet, you know?

Pebbles... I've been having the same thing... I think that it's just everything in your body moving up and your uterus implanting the bean even more... according to what I've read, this week (don't know how far along you are but I'm 3w6d) the placenta is starting to form.. maybe that's what that is???

Thanks! It seems I'm about 4 + 3 right now. I keep trying to picture what all is going on in my uterus! I hope it's all ok; I'm being a worrywart about it all. Working in L&D, you see everything that CAN go wrong, you know?

me too!!!! I feel cramps, pulling, tugging... I think it could also be ligaments shifting and uterus getting larger with more amniotic fluid for the baby:kid:
