View Full Version : Hyland Teething Tablets and nausea

Dd has been teething, so I got some of these, and in the past three days (since I've started giving them to her) she's puked three times. I've given her the tablets three times. No fever, and she is acting happy and healthy (other than occasional teething pain).
She is exclusively breastfed, I'm not eating anything unusual, and she's never vomited before this. I'm assuming it's the Hylands tablets.
Has anyone else had this experience?

could be one of the remedies in the tablets
They are a combination of several remedies
Always better to find the one remedy that best matches your child and just use that one alone

has some suggestions for possible remedies
see if any of these sound like your child during their teething experience
Then you would get that one remedy - usually in a 30C potency and give once and wait. Repeat if no response. Can repeat several times over several hours, but if no response, probably have chosen the wrong remedy
Good luck

Also, the tablets themselves have a lactose base and I've seen lactose intolerant kids who couldn't handle even the small amount in the tablets. Could this be a possibility?

I am able to have as much dairy as I want without her having any problems with my breastmilk, but she has never had any dairy herself. So I'm not sure. But I guess that is a possibility.
I will check into the other homeopathic options. Though I must say my dh was freaked out enough by her nausea that he doesn't like the idea of me trying anything else.
Thanks to both of you :)
