I had grand dreams of my preg with this baby, and how dd and I would have a wonderful time together, just the two of us.
Enter morning sickness.
I don't feel like doing anything. My house is horibbly messy, I can hardly stand cooking bc the smell of food makes me queasy, and my poor dd just wants me to play with her, but I feel so bad.
I'm not sure what the point of this post is other than just for me to whine, thanks for listening.
so who else has little ones at home, and what are you doing with your little ones? What kind of activities? Do you go the park? Are you guys sick too???

I have two dds, ages 5 and almost 3. Luckily, so far, I haven't had any real morning sickness. I try to get us out of the house for a walk or a trip to the park (weather permitting) everyday. I'm hoping that the morning sickness will stay away. I was sick morning, noon and night with both my pregnancies, so I can totally relate to being incapacitated by it. I hope yours lets up soon and you can do all the things that you envisioned.

Elle just turned 2 in March :love
She has been really good about letting me take a nap on the couch when I am tired (she stopped taking naps already) so I put up a gate to keep her in the room with me and she plays really nice by herself. Every once in a while she will crawl up on the couch with me and then she will go back and play :D My house was a huge mess too but yesterday I forced myself to clean it because I couldn't stand it anymore. I have enlisted my dh to laundry duty today because I am not that ambitious and I have to work tonight :help I hope you start to feel better soon!!!!

I have lots of little ones here! Well, the older ones aren't so little anymore. My DS's are 12, 10, & 6, and my DD's are 4 (on Friday!) & 2. I'm so excited to be adding to our family! This was such a complete surprise, I'm still in shock a bit.
I can't wait to find out what my real due date is!

My little ones are 3 1/2 years and 1 1/2 years - and thankfully still napping daily.
I can lay down with them while they nap, and at least rest if not sleep.

I have a 11 year old, 4 and 2 year old. So far I try to just nap or rest when the little ones nap in the afternoon.

I have a 3 yo and 2 yo. They do still nap most days so I take it easy during naps. They are big buddies and play together all the time, so that makes it easier for me. My m/s hasn't really kicked in yet. We are getting out of the house everyday playing outside and sometimes walking to the park.

mine are 5 1/2 and almost 3. we spend most of every day outside, our yard is fenced and they are very busy on the swingset, playhouse, digging, building, blowing bubbles, tormenting the dog:mischief , i do not leave them alone outside EVER so if I'm feeling drained I just stretch out on a blanket in the grass or lay back in a chair. we eat lunch outside. my house is a mess but I cant see making them stay inside so I can clean. bah! who wants to anyway:lol .
I've requested a hammock for Mothers day- but not holding out hope I'll get it. we cant really afford it right now...aaahh but itd be nice- wheres the daydreaming smilie:love

I have a 26 month old. I have been feeling kinda yucky from the pregnancy, but mostly it's been hard because of my herniated disk and extreme back pain. That has been very hard.

My boys are 2 1/2 and 1 1/2, but I'm still feeling okay so it's not too bad. They typically sleep in the afternoon for an hour or two so I can nap then if needed, and now that the weather is nice they play in the side yard a lot. Our two year old can also go to the barn with DH in the afternoon to give Mommy a break.
Just hoping I don't get bad m/s. I didn't with #2 but with #1 I threw up the ENTIRE pregnancy, morning, noon and night. It wasn't daily, but enough, anyways, and so much nausea. With #2 I was fine.
So I'm just working on getting them into more independent activities like coloring, blocks etc to give me a bit of rest time. I let them in the yard by themselves because I can see them easily and we live in the country so I don't worry about any people bothering them. The fenced in part is smallish and totally toddler-proofed (well, as toddler proof as you can get, anyways!).
House is okay so far but will probably get bad...except that I now have a cleaning lady help me once a week just for a few hours (gets the scrubbin' done). :love

I totally understand how you feel. I've been so tired and yesterday I couldn't work up the energy for more than feeding my daughter and changing her diaper! Yesterday afternoon she watched a disney movie, because hey, mama is exhausted and NEEDS to rest. She was perfectly happy to color and watch her movie. I try to limit her tv, but for this, I feel like we are compromising to do what we can. It is really hard, though. She is pretty good about playing by herself and still naps, so that helps.

My dd is two (last week), and she doesn't nap most of the time either. And she doesn't sleep well. So I'm one tired momma. I just feel like I have a lot less patience lately than before. I hope it will get better soon.
