Well it's technically early as usually the hormones don't kick in till about 5, 6 weeks along when the placenta takes over the hormonal support of the little one. However - the last 48 hours have been an exercise in gag-avoidance as smells, even THINKING about certain foods make me feel green, and just an underlying feeling of nausea.
I wonder if it's all in my head... :scratch

it's defitnitely not in your head. I've been nauseas for days now, no puking but I would probably feel better if I did.

Another nauseous one here! I had horrible morning sickness with DD but it didn't kick in until 7 1/2 weeks, but I've felt sick since 3 days before I peed on a stick. Right now I'm 5 weeks 2-3 days.
I feel fortunate to have the coping techniques I learned with DD so I know how to keep it minimal (frequent eating is one of them, as is having something on my nightstand to eat even before I get out of bed in the morning).
I think every pregnancy and every woman's body is different. For me its comforting to feel green because then I can relax more about my hormones doing what they need too. :shy

great! nice to know I am not crazy or if I am... I'm in good company!! :thumb
actually smells have been bothering me for over a week. (another thing I never experienced before)
I was at breakfast playgroup last week and the host Mom was making crepes and I went around and checked all the baby bums to see who had a stinky dipe..turns out it was the batter making me sick... but ONLY me.. that was my first clue.

I'd been feeling green around the gills in the afternoon. After I nearly hurled the other day I took a test (even though I figured it was WAY to early) and got a blaring positive. Those hormones do wacky things at wacky times. . we can never really know what to expect.
When I was pregnant with my DD I had 0 cravings and nearly no nausea. Now all I can think about is cabbage and saurkraut. It's the only thing that doesn't make me feel pukey. :scratch
