I think I have officially eaten everything in the house. :blush :lol
Seriously, I don't remember being so VERY hungry all the time with ds...it's like I eat a meal and 45 minutes later my stomach is GROWLING.
I guess of course when I was pregnant with him I wasn't also nursing a toddler, like I am now. :) Noah's cut down to pretty much 2 feedings a day tho, I think he will be done nursing soon. Which really I don't mind, and am kindof hoping for. I don't think I have it in me to tandem nurse. :o
anywaaaaay....back on subject.... I am HUNGRY!
Anyone else? :eyes

I noticed a couple of days ago that I get pretty hungry every few hours. However, I can't seem to eat that much in one sitting. So, I'm basically eating several small meals/snacks throughout the day and drinking a ton of water. I'm trying to up my protein intake and have a big salad everyday. I was just thinking that we are so lucky to be pregnant in the spring/summer because we'll have lots of fresh fruits and veggies to help our babies grow. There are huge farmer's markets here and I can't wait until tomato season! :yum

I go to the Farmers Market once a week. and buy lots of fresh fruit and veggies. I bought a case of tomatoes yesterday and spent the afternoon making fresh salsa!!!! yummy... all I seem to want to do is cook but I am not so hungry.. I still get nausuea alot.... :( I actually have decided to continue with my WW routine (weight watchers) just add the nursing points. I gained 60lbs with DS and DO NOT WANT TO DO THAT AGAIN. I am not going to starve myself.. but I am not going to use this pregnancy as an excuse to go rampant either... I need to drink more water so DH went out and bought a britta tap water filter last night..:) awww....he luvs me..xoxo:lol

It sort of comes and goes with me. In the mornings I am feeling very green tell about 11am. Then I get hungry. After dinner at night I normally have to eat something before going to bed.

Glad to see I'm not the only one! Last week and this week I've been eating everything in the house, and just can't seem to get enough food no matter what. This is my first pregnancy and everyone's been warning me about morning sickness, but no one ever said anything about eating everything you can get your hands on!
(I'm bouncing between Dec. & Jan. groups because I'm due Dec. 30th. Hi everyone!)

So far I have not been super hungry, but that may be because I was doing Weight Watchers before we got pregnant. Eating to maintain my weight is so much easier than losing! It feels like I'm feasting in comparison, especially having all the good fats like avocados and almonds which were hard to fit into my points allowance on WW.
I have noticed that I am not super hungry in the morning, which is a change: normally I am really hungry for that first bowl of cereal.
I'm not nauseous at all (yet), so I'm eating as much spicy food and veggies as I can now in case they make me sick later.
By the way, my naprapath says to remind everyone to try to get some flaxseed oil/omega 3 fatty acids in now, especially before week 8, to help with all that brain development!

Can you tell me more about the flaxseed oil? Do you just add it to your food? How do you eat it?

I remember hearing something awhile ago about flaxseed being mildly related to birth defects...anyone know if this is true? I'm guessing not, since Thalia's naturopath endorses it. I have some metal-free fish oils that I'm going to take and I'd like to add flaxseed as well. It's so good for you.
