Well, the paranoia has totally worn off. I am no longer temping and have no concerns in the size changes of my breasts. The last two days I have been either starving or nauseous. My dd's found me over the toilet today and said to each other very matter-of-factly, mama's seeing if she's gonna' throw up again. :lol
As soon as I can move from the couch I'm planning a trip to the pharmacy for some B6. Anybody else have any recommendations for m/s? It's been more than four years since I was in my 1st tri so I can't remember what else works. Oh, and heartburn started last night as well. My Tums expired in '04. Need to pick up some more of those too.
I'm relieved that the baby appears to be doing its thing. I just forgot that it happens this early. I have 7 more weeks before I'm out of the 1st tri. :crap

Puker here! Started last Friday and I've been throwing up at least once a day.
I really don't remember being this sick when pg with DD, but DH says I was. It didn't start this early though.
I've tried so far: B6, ginger, peppermint, and Seabands, all with very slight relief. Lately sucking on Lemon Drops has helped some, though its about the least healthy thing to do.
I throw up in the morning mostly, so I have a toaster on my nightstand and DH leaves me two frozen waffles when he leaves for work in the morning (one for me and one for DD) so I can at least eat something that will absorb the stomach acid so that when I puke its not as unpleasant.
I pretty much feel sick all day and try to eat something with fat/protein every two hours. "Light" snacks of just crackers or something dry doesn't do it for me- I just keep feeling sick. Its like my stomach needs something to "work" on.
Oh, and I'm being very careful to thoroughly swish with water after puking. Wasn't so good about it with my last pg and the stomach acid gave me a whoping 8 cavities. The dentist recommended swishing with ACT but I'm not comfortable with its ingrediants so I stick to water.

well I haven't puked in about a week but I do get the nauseous saliva filled mouth thing going on just about once a day ..DH said tonight we need to do something about this go get something for you.. but I am weordo and it makes me feel good when I feel this way because it means things are happening in my body that should be.. does that sound crazy? I have been kind of craving meat too..which is super odd for me.. but hey whatever..I crave it I eat it and then I feel sick from it... its a lovely cycle.. but I am going to enjoy ever single step of this pregnancy...the good the bad and the ugly..heheh :love

Nausea has already started at 3 w4d :o Its not bad, but I expect it'll get worse. I work with a naturopath in training so I'll let ya know if she stumbles onto any ogod cures :thumb

Hi! I haven't posted my intro yet on the sticky, but I found out on Friday that I'm expecting little one #1 :) Finally! I so don't understand the due date calculators on other sites -- regardless, I'm due sometime in mid to late January.
Yes, sicko, no puking yet. The past few days I've felt generally green all day and it was really hard to get up this morning for work. Ugh... seven weeks!

Very green...like 24/7. I may get an hour reprieve a day. I don't actually get sick and I find I'm actually eating a lot in hopes that something will do the trick... :sick blech

Exactly! I feel like crap, so I think, "Well, I haven't eaten in a while, I'll eat something." But then I eat and I immediately feel like I could throw it all up. I eventually feel a bit better, but then it all starts again, only now I'm afraid to eat because I'm afraid it'll make it worse! :irked: Egads, I can't win!
Those of you taking B6, how much are you taking? I got some this weekend, and I think each pill is 100 mgs. I couldn't decide if I should be taking one or two.
