My daughter and I have thrush (a yeast infection) and, well, when I posted about it on another board, those two items were recommended to me. I want to ask my husband to go out and get them, but I doubt he'll have heard of either of them and I don't want to send him on a wild goose chase just to find out you can't get it in Germany.
If you can't get them here, is there another alternative that is safe for baby and I both? Her yeast infection is in her mouth and mine is on my nipples. I have a doctor appointment, but it's not for two weeks still (my husband managed that one!)
I am treating mine with tea tree oil and yoghurt (primarily with yoghurt), and am cleaning them off my nipples before feeding. Also, we are exclusively breastfeeding, and I don't have a breast pump (they're so unbelievably pricy! Even a manual one is over $50 USD). I did buy some Brustwarzen Hätchen, though, from the brand Avent, but I haven't really figured out what to do with them yet (yes, put them on the nipples before feeding, take them off after feeding, but I have no idea how to clean them... boil them? Vinegar? Hot water and dish soap?).
Anyway, thank you in advance. (And I hope I don't annoy people by continually making threads with questions about Germany. *Hides* I just really have no idea what I'm doing.)
