I have always heard that you feel the baby move earlier with subsequent pregnancies than with your first. When I was pregnant with #1 I felt movement at 17 weeks. When do you think movement might be felt in a second pregnancy, or when did you feel movement if you've already had a second pregnancy or more?

Jumping in from October...

I felt this baby at 11 weeks for 3 days in a row. Then I felt nothing until 13 weeks when I started noticing daily movement.

I don't know but I can't wait!! I was 13 weeks with #1 when I felt a few flutters, then 19 weeks when it was for sure movement.

I can't wait to feel this one!

With my son, I never felt him until 24 (!) weeks (I guess he was just mellow.)

I know it's physiologicallly impossible, but I would swear I have felt this baby moving already. Just those little flutters. But I know it can't be...but it's NOT gas.

I felt dd#1 around 16 weeks and dd#2 at 10 weeks. With dd#2 I had to be bent over in kind of a weird position to feel her until a few weeks later when I felt her all the time. And since BlissP already made such a "crazy" statement (:wink ) I'll second that I have felt something that feels like flutters and isn't gas! I know it can't be the baby but I can't figure out what it would be!

Ahhhh! Me too!! That's the whole reason I posted this, because I felt some weird fluttering several times today, but I didn't want to make any "crazy" statements about baby moving this early. :lol I know with my head that the fluttering wasn't the baby moving (I read today that baby is the size of a sesame seed right now), but it still made me go hmmmmmm.

So where was your fluttering feeling? Mine was about two inches below my belly button and slightly to the left (my left) of the midline. From the other direction, it would be about three inches above my pubic bone. :shrug

I'm glad I'm not the only "crazy" one in here....:lol

I felt ds at 16 wks I hope for the same this time.

I think it has something to do with how thin or large you are. If yoy are thin there is less cushion so you feel it earlier. But I could be way off on this.

I think that only goes for feeling it externally.

I'm well-cushioned. :wink I felt DS #1 at 15 weeks - just little flutters at front middle, very top of my uterus. I felt this one (#2) at 11 weeks - WAAAAAY down low, to the side of my bladder. I've felt it every single day for the last 2 weeks. I even felt a flop this week - I'm 13 weeks (yes, crashing your DDC:)). Have only felt that once though - mostly I get flutters, but I know they're baby because of the positioning.

I had this past week too! I thought I was crazy but it was definitely a fluttering and not gas. It's been such a ling time since I have done this, DS is almost 9 now and he's my only child ( until the babe gets here in January ). I didn't feel him until abuot 18 weeks though.

the first time I felt DS I was on vacation in Minneapolis, it was the last weekend of March the 31st actually so I would've been....10 weeks? He was born 10/8......

I thought today too I felt something but that is physically IMPOSSIBLE I think as I am NOT EVEN FIVE WEEKS PREGNANT!!
