I am so excited to be pregnant again, but a little frustrated. I didn't even think about maternity clothes with my son until I was 4 1/2 months pregnant. My EDD with #2 is 1/7/07 and I already cannot fit into most of my jeans! I haven't gained any weight, but the pooch is definately there. Not fair! Is this normal?:irked:

I am only 5wks and outgrowing clothes quicky. I am wearing my "fat" clothes now but expect to be in mat clothes by 8wks.

I know my baby is only the size of a grain of rice but I am getting a pooch fast. Maybe it's b/c I am so thin and its my 2nd?

I am wearing maternity clothing.. because 1.) they are more comfortable
2.) you only get to wear them guilt free when your pregnant 3.) they are totally cute 4.) did I mention how comfortable they are...
screw society.. I have been wearing my maternity clothes since the day I saw 2 lines. :lol :lol :lol seriously I have.:innocent

I am seriously only 4 1/2 weeks and my jeans are uncomfortable! I have to unbutton when I sit down! :eek I havent been telling yet but I suspect I will have to before long. I was, though, in maternity pants by 12 weeks with #1 and 9 weeks with #2 so I suppose I shouldn't be surprised! Though right now its just bloat and oh, the gas... I forgot about the gas! :o

I hope it gets and stays warm here because I have shorts in larger sizes but no pants. I can get away with elastic waist for a good long while yet I hope!

I was just coming here to post on this topic myself. :lol

I'm somewhere between 5 - 7 weeks with #2 and while I'm still fitting in my jeans, I definately have that pregnancy pooch already. I too was gonna hold off telling my immediate family another three weeks but I may not be able to.

I *just* got back into most of my clothes from the last time :irked: I broke out the adjustable jeans today :angry and had to keep tugging them up. Comfort is paramount! Since this is my last pregnancy I'm not really going to worry about it :lol I'm guessing chasing a toddler and nursing I'll be back into them quicker this time :o

This is freaking me out, too! With DS1, I didn't wear maternity until I was 6 months, and now I am 4 and half weeks! And wearing my postpartum stuff. Boy, oh boy.

ETA: I didn't even realize the forum I was in. I though it was regular "I'm pregant". I didn't realize that we're all about the same.

I should worry much more about my mind than my body at this stage. This morning, I hunted about 30 minutes for my purse, and then when DS and I finally left, I took TWO wrong turns going to a friend's house where we have been going twice a week for more than a YEAR. At the first wrong turn, I didn't even REALIZE it. 3 year old DS goes, "but I wanted to go to Ivy's house!" HUH?!?

I am due 1/7 and I am wearing maternity too. Mainly just pants and shorts but my tummy is for sure sticking out already.

As a first-timer, I'm still gladly wearing my regular jeans. However, I have already pulled out the "heavy" bras from when I weighed ~15 lbs more (WHY do I always gain/lose weight in my breasts and NEVER from my butt?!). It's both exciting (I have boobs!) and annoying (hurts to run when you have boobs), but that's all the change that's happened so far. I guess this thread is mostly just a preview for me of what to expect next time around.

I've lost about 35-40 lbs since January and haven't replaced my clothes so they should fit for awhile, I hope. If they don't, I still have some of my maternity clothes from last time and I just picked up a waist expander thingy from Destination Maternity.

My mom was just teasing me about my "cute little belly." I am OK until about 5 or 6 PM! I make it home from work and jump into my fold-down waste yoga pants! I recently lost about 15 pounds, and haven't replaced my clothes, so I should have some up room before needing to break out the maternity stuff. I don't have alot of summer maternity either because I didn't show until 4+ months with DD and I was into Sept. by then. I am hoping to get by on sundresses and big skirts!

I'm having the opposite problem... my regular clothes are now falling off me! I haven't even thrown up yet, and I haven't had a lack of appetite. It's weird. Maybe it's because I've been more active due to decent weather? Plus, I've been trying really hard to eat right for this baby. My EDD is January 27th, though.

With ds, I lost 10 pounds the first trimester and didn't need maternity clothes until 6 months. But this time is completely different. I was feeling the tightness at 5 weeks. I just ran to Walmart to get some stretch capris because NOTHING fits anymore. Doc said I would get bigger alot quicker this time though so I am just going to enjoy it and be comfy for my babies :)
