I am having this weird pain whenever I go to the bathroom. It's kind of like when I "let down" my bladder, it HURTS. It feels like organs are shifting and it's an intense, sharp pain. I am not enjoying it.
It also seems to bother me a bit when I am walking around. But the worst is the feeling of pushing when I first begin to pee, or am trying to fully empty my bladder. It started last night and has continued today.

Other than that, peeing doesn't hurt - no burning, stinging, or anything.
I was thinking UTI. Or actually, bladder infection - is there a difference, or are they mutually inclusive? I'm not sure if it's either.
Round ligament pain? I can't find anything about exactly where that pain occurs so I am not sure about that either.
I don't remember having anything like this when I had my son.

I have been drinking more water than usual just in case, and am about to make a trip to the health food store to pick up cranberry extract (have to watch my blood sugar so juice is out) and some red raspberry leaf and nettle.

Also, I don't have an actual doctor to call.
We recently moved from California, I had to leave my beloved midwife there, although I suppose I could call her for advice.
But I just found out I am pg again, and I don't have health insurance. I have been going to a sliding scale clinic, but they're so busy I don't think they can just have me come in. I think they will just tell me to go to the ER and I can't afford it. I do NOT think this is an emergency.

Thoughts? I'll be back later, gonna run to the HFS.

thanks in advance!!!

I suppose it could be round liagament pain or UTI. I don't really know. I have alot of pain/pressure in the pelvic area but that is from the baby being so low. I do notice that the baby moves and it really hurts around my bladder and makes the need to pee intense even if I've just gone. If you can ask a health care provider, I would just to be safe. Good Luck!:p

It sounds like a UTI beginning...I would take either a cranberry extract capsule 3x per day or drink a ton of the juice (unsweetened) and drink lots of water (it can't hurt). Also, personally I have treated the beginning of UTI's w/ echinacea glycerite (or tincture) combined w/ the cranberry and it has truly helped and enabled me to escape antibiotics.

Best to you...

Thanks.

I went and got some cranberry extract.

I've been taking 3 capsules a day, plus 2 capsules of echinacea 3 times a day, and I feel fine now. I'll probably continue for two more days.

The night after I posted this, I found some dried cranberries in the pantry and despite the sugar, I ate about half a cup. LOL. I was really hurting and wanted to do SOMETHING.
I actually felt better when I woke up in the morning. So, I'm sure that's all it was. I've never had a UTI before.
