AF is back! :( I have no idea how it's going to affect my milk supply right now. Already in the past 3 days her latch has changed from great to horrible (I don't know AF hormonal changes are affecting the taste or something). I kinda want to wean, but I keep telling myself I've come way too far to wean now. Just need some hugs, I guess.

Too bad that :af had to rear it's ugly head so soon.
I have heard before that human-milk can change in flavour just before/during and after af.....maybe some of the Mammas here have some links on that...
I would just wait and see what your dd decides, she may just adjust and be willing to continue, or, she may decide that now is her time :happyt: . In the meantime, pay attention to her latch, re-attach when necessary and/or change positions.

...I also know of some Mammas who have increased nursings, day & night, and have made "af" dissappear....:W

Maybe it's just coincidental with new teething. My 14 month olds are changing their latch with their new teeth :kindaowey.

:hug I'm so sorry. Hopefully, it will just be a temporary problem. I'm so nervous about AF showing up and messing things up for me now that we're finally off formula. Keep up all your efforts. It really is worth it! :thumb

mine came back a few days shy of our son's first birthday (a year ago today). and then he kept nursing until christmas time at age 18.5 months.
