Will the pill effect supply?

I am getting an IUD put in on 7/5, because both DH and I are *very* fertile, and we most definitely need to pace ourselves before the next baby. I got pregnant on the pill this time, so that's not an option, and every other form I've tried has given me awful side effects.

My mw put me on the pill for now, until I get my IUD, to make sure that I don't get pregnant in that time. I've only been on it for 3 days now (my appointment was Tuesday) and I'm wondering if there will be adverse effects to my milk supply?

I just wasn't sure how the hormones in the pill would react/counteract the hormones released when lactating.

Anyone have experience with this?

Mini pill or regular? Mini pill will be less likely to impact your supply. You should not be on the regular pill as that WILL seriously impact your supply.

Yes it still can. You might try it and see how your little one reacts, but just kind of "cool it" till you get the IUD placed :lol.
