Germany Won! Like an hour ago. It just keeps getting louder and louder out there. It was funny. I was following a bit online but I just checked everytime I heard cheering. DS is dead asleep. God Bless him! DH is working late. God bless him more!

We didn't get much sleep down here. Horns blowing, people yelling and screaming (and we live in a 'quiet' area!), fireworks and firecrackers...
We wanted Argentina to win, so this was like rubbing salt in the wound.
Plus, the referee during the game was clearly 'for' the Germans and made lots of unnecessary penalties so that they would have the chance to score a goal.
Added to this, one of our childless friends was so happy German won (he's German), that he rang our doorbell (several times!) at 9pm, woke up both kids (which scared them), and I was livid!
I really hope Italy wins on Tuesday, because I can't take this anymore. Can you imagine what it'll be like if they actually win the tournament?

Try being in Berlin, talk about nuts! We actually won tickets through the national lottery for the Tunisia-Ukraine game. We thought it would be a once in a lifetime experience for DS (he's almost 4 yo). He fell asleep. Oh well.

This city is going to be really hopping come next Sunday (and we live 10 minutes from the Stadium!).
