I'm not complaining here. I had really bad morning (well, actually, mostly afternoon and evening) sickness with ds. Now I'm not very far at all into this pregnancy (3 wks.?), so it may have just not hit yet, but with ds it started pretty much right away and went well into my 4th mo. I realize every pregnancy is different, so...I'm just wondering if other people have no morning sickness, and if it means anything bad or not (like not enough hormones or something). Maybe I'm just lucky this time around?

Thanks for any anwers you might have. I'm just really nervous this time. And so far things have been quite a bit different. I've been assured that this normal -- every pregnancy is different. I'm just finding it unnerving.

Hi,
I think it's ok that you are not experiencing morning sickness. It is a good sign when you do, and not a bad sign when you don't IMO.

I am also feeling great -- I'm only 5 weeks today. Last time, my morning sickness lasted 24 hours a day for 5+ months and did not start until 6 weeks. I am living it up this next week! I also know a lot more about nutrition than I did with DD and so I hope that will help.

I think a lot of people don't feel sick until later... or not at all.

Good luck and savor every moment right now - I know I am!

Hi. I did not start feeling sick until this week- week 6. So maybe you are just one of the lucky ones who doesn't get morning sickness or maybe the best is yet to come :)

Either way is okay- I know some with perfectly healthy children who felt better than ever during pregnancy and others with TERRIBLE M/S who also have perfectly healthy children :)

I had no morning sickness at all with my second child, and she's healthy, hearty, and almost 22 months old. Every pregnancy is different.

That said, with DS I did have MS, but it didn't set in until around 6 or 7 weeks. So it could be on its way... Enjoy feeling well, while you can!

Thanks! I figured it was OK, but, like I said, I seem to be really nervous this time around. Well, I'll just relax and enjoy it! And I'll see if it lasts. :wink

Last time I was taking chaste tree berry tincture, and I have a feeling that that may have contributed to the length and severity of morning sickness for me (at this point, I don't think I needed it, and maybe it caused the hormones to be worse). I haven't been taking it this time, so maybe, even if I do get morning sickness, it won't be so bad.

I'm feeling GOOD now. All except for getting tired easily. I like my body suppressing my immune system! (I have MS -- meaning multiple sclerosis, not morning sickness -- and NATURAL immune suppression is wonderful).

Anyway, thanks again for setting my mind at ease.
