I am not really sure where to put this, so I hope this is the right place. I also do not know if this has already been discussed in a thread..and if it has, could someone point me in the right direction? :)

I have had two children and I have not had morning sickness either time. However, we are considering trying for number three in the very near future and it could possibly be already :)... what I am wondering is have you other mamas ever had morning sickness with some pregnancies and not others....is it pretty much the same for you each time? I just assumed that I didn't get morning sickness...but maybe I should not make such assumptions....

Thanks in advance for the help!

Morning sickness is both a mama and a baby thing - some women will tend to get it, maybe really bad, or not get or only barely, but each pregnancy may be very different. (Not speaking from personal experience here, being very early into my first pregnancy, but relating my mom's and others' experiences).

I didn't have any m/s with my first 2 babes. This time? I am just trying to get through the next hour. One hour at a time:lol

It has to end sometime right?:dizzy:

I've had three pregnancies. With each one, the morning sickness started even before I could test. That is, at least, feeling queasy. It peaked at around 8-10 weeks, though it took a bit after that to totaly taper off.

I am on preg #3. 1st was pretty bad, all the way through. Worse, I believe due to my poor diet and overeating, than it had to be.
2nd was really bad 1st tri and not at all bad throughout 2nd and 3rd tri.

3rd, so far had some really early queasiness, and not at all now, who knows?

Personally am only on my first full pregnancy.. But from my understanding it could go either way, when my Mother was preg with my first sister she had morning sickness for 7 months (Scary thought I know!) and with my second sister it only lasted something like 10 weeks... So I think it may come down to the luck of the draw!!

Thanks for all of the info everyone. The weird sickness I was feeling was apparently not pregnancy related...as I turned out to not be pregnant... yet :( ...but the info is great :)!

For me it seems to get worse with each pregnancy! With my first I wasn't sick or nauseous at all, with my second I felt ill for about a week, and this time (I'm just 5 weeks now - I have to change my siggy!) I feel really crappy, and have for at least two weeks now. I heard that morning sickness often peaks around 9 weeks, which feels pretty far away right now. Hopefully I'll feel like my old self soon!
