I ec'ed my ds from 4 months and it was so cool. I'm not sure if I'll start at birth as I will be wiped, but I'm thinking 2 or 3 months.
Anyone else?

I don't know that I have the "umpfh" to try (I overthink/worry things to death, so my 2 day attempt with ds1 failed spectacularly). It's awesome, though! Good luck w/ that. :D

Um, partial EC-- poo starting at 6 months.
Makes using cloth much better!

Up until recently, EC was a totally foreign concept to me. I know a bit about it, just fron hanging around MDC, but I never actually considered it. Now, I'm going through the uphill battle of helping a toddler to potty-learn, when that toddler has been trained since birth to go in a diaper, and EC is starting to look more and more interesting to me. For one thing, it's less laundry to do. I'd love to learn more about it...

MDC pooped (:lol) while I was trying to respond to this thread a few days ago.
Anyway, we're interested in EC with this baby, our first, from the start. DP especially isn't sure how much we'll actually do it, though, and thinks it'll be a lot of work. I want us to go to Diaper-Free meetings to learn about it first-hand and see it done. I think just like with breastfeeding, anyone can do it, but it requires the inate knowledge and confidence that comes from seeing it done, which is why groups like LLL and DFB rock.
