Noordwijk aan zee vacation?

We stayed one night here a few months ago. We may go back again for a week in August. Anyone have any reccomendations for a family beach vacation in Holland?

It depends on what kind of vacation you're looking for. If you want nature and lots of peace and quiet, I'd recommend Schiermonnikoog (one of the Frisian islands, no cars allowed). If you want a very lively beach, maybe Scheveningen. If you want something in between, you could try De Koog or De Cocksdorp on Texel island (both are lively but are on either end of a nature reserve). Or Vlieland (also one of the Frisian islands). If you want beaches mixed with traditional Dutch culture, anywhere in Zeeland. And if you want a quick daytrip out of Amsterdam, there's always Zandvoort.
