Okay girls, We have narrowed down the names to 3 girls and 3 boys. Now baby is due any day so I need some help on what you like out of these. Please pick a girl and a boy- we are not sure what we are having. Anyone who took the last poll thanks!
We are going to wait to see the babe before we name him/her but we would like a few choices. If you have any that you just love let us know, we are open to everything!:thumb :thumb

I picked Finlay for both also!! Are you giving the baby a middle name? If so what have you decided on? I can't wait to hear what you decide after the little one is here!!!!:love

Well, for a middle name we really haven't talked much about that.
My Ideas:
For a girl: My great grandma's name is Golden and I would like to use that, although Rose is such a pretty middle name and I think it goes well with most every name.
For a boy: I like Cray because DP calls me crayon and I think it is a sweet way to carry on something special between us. But he is not so big on that name, but I think it sounds good with Reo and he has picked that name as the one he likes.
I think the baby will end up being Adria Rose or Reo Cray, but I could always look at the babe and see something totally different. We both were looking for a good finnish name because DP is finnish but we couldn't come up with anything so we thought Finlay sounded cute. Also I like Ireland for a girl, so that may be up there too! Who knows!
Keep posting and voting please, it makes it so much more fun for us!

How about Liberty Belle for a girl? :hippie

:D I voted Finlay and Reece...but have you thought of Finley? Somehow the "e" seems easier on the tongue?
One of my close friends has three boys, named Jack, Finn, and Rhys (pronounced Reece). Awesome names. :D
Adria is nice and simple, too. My second dd's name is Ariadne (pronouced "Ah-ree-odd-knee") and she's always getting called Adriana. :p I like the short version you've come up with.
Middle names are *so* fun. Each of my children has two...one name that is sentimental or that we loved (i.e., my eldest *had* to name her sister Madeline, so that's one of second dd's middle names) and one middle name that represents a virtue. (So far we have Justice, Patience, and Courage).
If you don't use Ireland for a first name, it would make a gorgeous middle name that any child would be proud of. And I really like the keeping-tradition use of your great-grandmother's name. These little bits of history are so important to our childrens' sense of belonging to something larger, yk?
Sending you love!

Well, I voted and posted on your last poll too. But I think I've changed my mind a little. :) I agree with whomever posted that they like Finley with an "e" instead of Finlay. If it is spelled that way, it is not my style - isn't pronounced the same way (to me that is) either - how do you pronounce Finlay? To me, Finley is fin-ly with the emphasis on the first syllable. But Finlay is Fin-lay and not sure where the emphasis is. Please let me know what you like/mean. Maybe I'm just being a preggo and not getting it! :)
Now I think I like Reese for a girl and Reo for a boy. I like Reo Cray now that I know the story behind it! Think I would go with Reese Golden as Reese Rose doesn't do much for me as far as the combo.
Still not a fan of the name Dorian - that nickname Dori (being so feminine) is turning me off I think.
And I am not personally a fan of the first and last name having the same initial so Adria is out for me - though it is a pretty and not common name. Pronounced Ay-dria or Aw-dria - I assume the first as the second would be spelled Audria?
I will post a baby name poll sometime too (due in two months with gender unknown) so I hope you'll give me your opinions then! :)

Okay girls,
Well I think Finley with an "e" is better as well, thanks for that input! :thumb
We have a niece named Aubrey so that is my only concern with Adria- it almost sounds like Audrey.
Adria I found it in a celtic book and just loved it. I really think that will end up being the girls name, and I guess that her last name will probably not always be Alexander so the AA thing doesn't really bother me.
I really like Reo and I think that most people will think it is stupid but I just can't stop calling the baby that. Too funny! :D
Keep posting- I am still cooking! Send me vibes I am starting to hurt now!:love :love
