I swear they are going to fall out!!! baby A is head down and she is down in my pelvis, the midwife could only feel the back of her head at her neck. i feel like my cervix is starting to ripen and the pressure on my hips has increased significately.
does any of this mean anything. its my second pregnancy so it seems like it wouldnt take as long to ripen my cervix if the baby is that low.

I felt that way for months. I labored on and off. I finally gave birth at 40w2d. It was a very fast and near painless labor. A bit less than 3 hours, most of which was pushing, after my water broke while I was asleep.
Hang in there.

well i dont know if that makes me feel better or not. I guess its good to know that this is all normal and that i can go along with my life and not have to stick so close to home as if i was in labor but then thinking about going to 40 weeks seems crazy. i've had such an easy time with this labor so i was hoping it I would sail smoothly to the end. But feeling like this for another month would not be fun.
we will see, only time will tell.
thanks for your reply

I remember feeling that way at around 26 weeks, but I was working on my feet all day. Then I had to go on bed rest(unrelated issues to feeling like this) and it kinda went away.Maybe you need to relax a bit more?

I remember I got no sleep before the girls were born. I kept saying, "At least after they are born, I can sleep in between the crying."
I don't know if it is impending labor or not, but I am wishing you well!!!

I felt as if they would fall out from about 24 weeks on and it was extremly bad near the last couple of months. It honestly felt as if they were slaming themselves into my cervix and coming out. I was so afraid to go anywhere but ended up delivering at 39 weeks and 4 days. It too was very quick and easy. I felt one odd pain headed for the hospital and the contractions started, arrived within 40 minutes and I was fully dialated and ready to go but never had the feeling to bear down the entire time. Very odd! Much different then any of my singleton deliveries.

I just remember threatening my OB that I would be jumping up and down if they didn't come out soon. My feet were so swollen, they wouldn't fit into my Birkenstocks anymore. I was MISERABLE. I'm sure you've delivered by now....Hope all is well and hang in there. Twins are AWESOME (for the most part:wild )
