I love pg, birth, etc... and I'm always looking for good books/references (I'm not a childbirth educator, this is just for me).

Today I picked up A Natural Guide to Pregnancy and Postpartum Health: the First Book by Doctors that really addresses pregnancy recovery (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1583331387/qid=1047872445/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_1/104-9365630-1742331?v=glance&s=books&n=507846) by Dean Raffelock, DC & Robert Roundtree, MD and I'm so excited! :thumb

The premise of the book is that PPD can be avoided with good nutrition, especially in the postpartum period.

Here is the table of contents:
I Have a Beautiful Baby, Why Do I feel So Terrible?
Pregnancy Preparation, Support and Recovery
How Nutrient Depletion Sets the Stage for Postpartum Ailments
Laboratory Tests - and How to Read Them
Building Nutrient Reserves with Diet
Postpartum Food Preparation: Practical Matters
Building Nutrient Reserves with Supplements
Healing Your Digestive Tract
Using Hormones to Regain Balance After Pregnancy
Healing Your Digestive Tract
Using Hormones to Regain Balance After Pregnancy
The Breastfeeding Factor
Using Herbs to Restore and Maintain Postpartum Health
The ABCs of Exercise
A Healthier Outlook
This book (published in 2002) is perfect for Mothering readers... especially birth junkies, pregnant mamas, and anybody who lurks in the Health & Healing board.

My question... Does anybody know of another POSTPARTUM book that deals with Recovery, Healing, Recipes, etc... that you can recommend?

I really liked Robin Lim's books. I even made some of the postpartum teas!
