View Full Version : How is everyone feeling?

I thought I would start a thread where everyone can update us on how they feel! Today I feel tired and my boobs are really sore! :lol I haven't felt sick yet but I think that is coming. Mostly I have just felt really worried. After 2 m/c i am having a hard time relaxing! I keep telling myself day by day. Easier said than done!:p

My breasts are really sore, they look a bit different, I have had some round ligament/psaos muscle (that's what my chiro called it) pain, and a full feeling in my uterus that is best described as crampy without the rhythmic nature of cramps. No spotting, no real nausea.

I'm SICK! It seems to be hitting much earlier (and worse) than it did with Fiona. I never really got *sick* with her and the little bit of nausea I did have didn't come until probably 8-10 weeks. I'm just *4 weeks* today! Doesn't that seem early for strong food aversions, nausea, etc.? Weird ....

I am happy to say that my breasts are sore and feel a little bigger. I had NO breast changes through my entire first pregnancy and breastfeeding was a daily struggle (awful supply issues). I'm hoping that things will go differently this time.

I still sort of feel like I have my period. I'm relatively crampy, like the 2nd day's worth of cramps, and have tender boobs. Nothing too bad, though. I'm not tired or anything. I really don't have any real symptoms yet. I'm just giddy ;-).

I've been really tired and just a bit queasy. My breasts don't hurt, but they didn't with my second pregnancy either; maybe because I'm nursing?

With my dd (my second pregnancy), I had basically zero symptoms, except fatigue, until I felt her moving!

koofie

My breasts are sometimes sore and defiantly bigger! I've also been dizzy, hungry, and had some heartburn, which I haven't had since I was pg with DD. I've also been sick, with elevated temps (~99+), swollen lymph nodes, and a head cold - which I gave to DH and DD. And I feel bloated a bit:(

Nothing yet except I'm a lot hungrier.

I've been on a special diet (lots of basic whole foods and tons of water, just no sugar/salt/oil/most carbs) for the past 5 1/2 weeks and it was smooth sailing until a few days ago. Now I get viciously hungry at night (just ask dh). I'm trying to listen to my body and eat a little extra but last time (last preg) I listened to my body and ate everything and gained a lot (which is why I've been on a diet). I've lost 17 lbs. My goal was 20 but I don't think it'll happen because when I reach my mental deadline of Tuesday I'M HAVING PIZZA!
Ok, this is not the place to discuss diets, sorry mamas. :o

HUNGRY!! (how can a speck make me want to eat so much!?!), sore boobs, and dh says they are filling out nicely:lol not queasy yet, will take that as long as i get it! and tired...just wanting to chill out when usually i like to be on the go. my body seems to know i need to just give some energy to growing this babe

I am still feeling completely normal. I'm trying to really enjoy it, because if this pregnancy is anything like my last one, I'll soon be miserable and throwing up all day, every day.

CarolynnMarilynn

I don't envy you mamas who have to deal with morning sickness, or worse, hyperemesis. That is really terrible.

I don't usually get much, other than queasiness time to time, and I am soooo thankful.

I hope that it is better this time for all the mamas who experienced it with previous pregnancies.

Nauseus, but no throwing up yet. Tired, could be due to waking at 5:30, freakishly not able to go back to sleep. And during the week I have my two plus babysat boy so it's not really conducive to naps. I am definitely taking a nap today.

And a little hungrier. I had been on a "diet" patch that's really a health/wellness conglomeration of herbs and homeopathic remedies. That was giving me energy and suppressing a bit of the munchiness I tend towards, not to mention keeping me *regular*. But, while I *know* it's safe for pregnancy, the company doesn't endorse pregnant use. And it made my skin itchy the third day after finding out I am preg. So I ditched it. Now I am having to try to really pay attention to what is actual need to eat, and what is my innate love of eating.

:lol

But ok, I am queasy now, so off to eat a banana!

I wake up super early now too and I can't fall back asleep. Weird.

And gas is a problem now. :(

Oh no, now I'm queasy too. I need to go eat breakfast (it's 8am here)...

I've been feeling pretty good the last few days. I was feeling sick last weekend through about Wednesday. This is my 3rd pregnancy. I didn't have many early symptoms with the last two except tiredness. This time, I've felt sick, my boobs hurt, and I'm super crabby.

I can also already feel my abs expanding. They feel kind of tight. I have a feeling I'm going to show very fast.

Very, very irritable, thank you! I've been "emotionally strong", passionate if you will, my whole life. Now I just can't seem to hold it in! Maybe it's the fatigue making me so pissy. I'm soooo tired! I can handle the sore boobs, the crampiness, the peeing every half hour, even the nausea, but pleeeeeze give me back my ability to rein in my emotions!

Oh, and it doesn't help that my husband "decided" to get sick less than 48 hours after I told him I'm pregnant...gotta wonder if there's some correlation or if it's merely a coincidence! I'm the one that should be coddled and taken care of right now! Instead I'm dealing with more than he could handle PLUS taking care of his whiny butt! :irked:

Yes, definitely could do without this *&%#@ irritability!! (will it go away...soon, or will I be like this for the next 8 months?!?)

CarolynnMarilynn
07-30-2006, 07:05 PM
It's funny that others have mentioned, um, emotional irritability as a symptom. Last Saturday morning I had a BFN (was that only a week ago?!?) and when I told dh that it was negative, and that I needed some help cleaning up a big spill, he responded with, "you're having a bad day, huh?" :irked: I was seriously po'd at that point, because as if not being pregnant was equivalent with having a bad day, blah, blah, blah. I screamed and wailed and carried on until my throat was hoarse as his insensitivity and blah, blah, blah. That night I had a BFP! :lol

Then this week, I was waiting until just the right moment to tell a friend my happy news, and she had been told already by my administrator at the office. My grandmother, same thing, by my mom. And my chiro by a good friend. They all had great intentions, but I was a bit, um, emotional, when I found out my surprise was spoiled, ya know?

The fact that a tiny little gathering of cells is making me so bloated is BIZARRE. Seriously, my profile looks like I'm 5 months pregnant, but it's all bloat, all the time.

I'm going to have a hard time keeping this to myself unless the bloat backs down a bit, hehe.

Anybody else?

Bella Babe
07-31-2006, 07:59 AM
Um, yes definitely bloated. You can take dandelion greens as a mild diuretic (NOT A DR HERE!! WARNING!!! lol) And dandelions are supportive, and high in potassium, so as not to deplete resources.
A tincture would be easier than, say, foraging in your local organic fields....:lol

I definitely am going to show early this time. Not so much actual baby popping out, but my belly is like "oh, I've done this two times b4 I know what's coming!!!"
It'll be really nice when I am showing, because you know? Everyone lets you get in the front of the line at public restrooms....:o

I am very bloated looking also! I have heard that progestrone relaxes your muscles and that can make your stomach bloated early.:lol I still haven't gotten morning(all day) sickness yet. I am still very irritable and tired. Oh and gassy. :o Have a great day.

My breasts are tender and quite.......voluptous already! I can't keep my hands off 'em. Neither can dh, for that matter!:lol

I do have some cramping/pulling going on. It seems more pronounced than with my first two pregnancies.

I'm surprisingly very un-bloated, which was actually kind of a clue to me that I was pg. I usually swell up like a balloon a couple of days before AF. I'm going to enjoy this for as long as I can, because I know that my belly will just decide to pop out any minute.

I'm not cranky. I have a feeling of peace about this pregnancy. I hope that lasts too! Every once in a while, though, I'll go, "Holy carp! Three kids? What have we done?!" Those moments are fleeting.

I've been having little twinges here and there, and some bloating and gas, but I think the biggest symptom for me right now is restlessness. Especially at night, the last few hours before bedtime. I get so restless and irritable. Nothing sounds good, not reading, not watching tv, not sleeping (or I'd wake up at 2am), not playing a game, not talking to anyone. Just grumpy. It sucks. Hopefully it won't last long.

I just found out yesterday and I keep feeling like my period is going to start. I have cramping but it's not as bad as it is before AF but still annoying. I've been peeing a lot but then again I have an overactive bladder so what else is new :D

I must be bloated or something though cause I could not button my jeans yesterday... and this was before I tested and got a bfp. I know it's too early to be getting bigger but I couldn't believe that my jeans were so dang tight!

Up until last week, I was feeling period like cramps and a some 'weirdness in my head' (not headaches, not lightheaded, just 'off'). My boobs have been sensitive, and I've been super gassy! Yee Haw. This is so much fun ;)

Then the other night it hit me! I woke up feeling like I was going to puke. I managed to breath through it and fall asleep again. This happened again last night, and then this morning in the shower, dry heaves. Yuck! I have been feeling queasy on and off most of today.

I am finding that blood sugar level contributes, and that's why I think I am waking up in the middle of the night and feeling ill. I'm going to sleep with some crackers by the bed tonight and try the suggestion of waking in the morning, eating some crackers and staying in bed for another 15 minutes.

I'm doing ok so far :fingersx: Sore & veiny breasts & yesterday they started to seem bigger (woohoo :wink ) I've had spotting the past three days, and some mild crampiness - or maybe it's more just pressure/pulling - more nagging than anything else. And this morning I'm feeling pretty gassy/bloated. So far I've done ok w/little or no nausea - I'm not looking forward to that - crossing my fingers that maybe I'll be one of the lucky ones that doesn't really get morning sickness - I've got a phobia of puking. I'm also pretty tired. I've been worrying a lot (especially about if things are normal, like the spotting and all the weird feelings around my uterus), but that's not a surprise... peeing a lot, but that's not new, either.

So how long do you think it will be until we're not so enchanted by all the strange things our bodies are doing? :wink

Probably 9 months for me. :lol

I'm feeling sick, weak and shaky this morning but I don't think it's morning sickness. I came off my diet yesterday and ate processed foods (aussie pocket :sick) and pizza....lots of things I haven't had in 6 weeks (salt, oils, sugar, dairy) so my body is reacting big time. Live and learn.
Reminds me of the movie Super Size Me. :o

My boobs have been KILLING me. So sore. I also had to buy a bigger sized bra the other day. In scarier news, I just had a little spotting about an hour ago. It seemed pinky brown, but still. Now I'm completely paranoid...

I know I will continue to be fascinated by my body at least until I'm done nursing, (milk shooting contests, anyone?) so I've got a few years to go! I love the changes my body goes through, except for the painful ones like sciatica.

I feel exhausted and ditzy and out of it today. I didn't get to eat breakfast this morning and things were crazy at the office so I didn't get to eat until 11:30 and then it was a black bean burrito from Taco Time. With stuffed mexi fries.:duck:

My breasts are less tender and my cramping seems to have slowed, so I'm glad about that. I woke up burping this morning though and thought it was hilarious! That has never happened to me!

I'm trying to enjoy every day of this pregnancy, but I'm impatient to feel the baby move! I know I have a long wait for that though. Probably Septemberish/Octoberish.

I wouldn't worry about it, Juliah. Some spotting is not abnormal. Also, your cervix is more sensitive, so if sometimes after dtd with DH, you might have some spotting.

08-02-2006, 02:29 PM
Julia - I've had spotting the past three days - and I've been worried about it, too. I got a few responses from others on the board who said they had spotting (some even a little bit of red blood) early on in their pregnancy & things turned out just fine. I also asked my family doc when I went in to test last night and she said it sounded like nothing to worry about.

Now, that doesn't mean I'm not worrying :wink But it sounds to me like it's a pretty normal thing, and that unless it's bright red &/or with bad cramps, it's probably fine. If it lasts, though, I'd say go to your doc just to be sure rather than keep stressing yourself out.

So I think I might be like Nichole & be fascinated through nursing. I grew up around an attitude of bodies & sex being embarassing & taboo, so I'm learning so much through this whole process - Right now, I'm just totally in awe of the fact that my body figured out how to make a little babe & is just going about doing it's own thing to keep the little guy growing & developing. So cool :thumb

juliaaah, hugs to you--i've been on both sides of that (spotting=fine; spotting=not fine), and it's just a waiting game. if it's still going on at 8 weeks and you'd like to know for sure, that's one situation where i definitely allow myself an ultrasound!

don't forget, too, that a lot of us could still be having some remnants of implantation bleeding, so there's that.

fi have to say, completely ot, that my dd's best friend is called julia and we made up a little song that goes "juliaaaaaaa, juliaaaaah, julia and hazel they are friends (etc)," so every time i see your name i get the song stuck in my head, ha!

as for the feeling: i am exhausted, starving, thirsty, peeing a lot, and alternately violently grumpy and in this altered, buzzy, happy, life-force-washing-over-me state. also, i swear that i have a belly already. what the heck? i'm all for it, though. bring on the belly!

Elizabeth - :Hug No sleep is not fun.

I'm pretty much the same - my spottings gotten lighter :thumb so I'm happy about that. Not having as much cramping/pressure etc. And today I'm feeling a bit more queasy. Up until today it's mostly been after dinner or just gas/indigestion, but I've felt a little sicky on and off - eating has seemed to help, though, which is good!

I've been having a hard time getting comfortable sleeping - I normally sleep on my stomach or half on my side, but what with my breasts & belly being sore... I've been so tired, though, it hasn't been much of a problem :yawning:

I am just tired, with sore breasts, and fullness in the pelvic region. Unfortunately sleep is eluding me, as I only slept 2 hours last night before being called out for a birth, napped on and off for 2 hours this afternoon, and have another client in early labour now. However, I am off for a month in 10 days, so it can only get better! :dizzy:

I'm still feeling decent. My breasts aren't as sore and my cramping seems to have slowed quite a bit. I think I actually pee less now than I did when I wasn't pregnant, but I'm craving a ton of water, so I'm thinking my body is just using all the fluid I drink.

I am SO stinky though, omg. :bag:

I need to go out in the woods or something by myself, cuz I got some major bloat and gas. That's the LAST time I a fajita at the fair!

Edited to add that I can barely stay awake and I've already got pregbrain. I left my keys in the athletic store yesterday, went to two other stores before I realized it! Sorry to say, but I'm a little jealous of those of you who are nauseated/vomiting. I was all set for that, but instead I'm getting killer migraines and all over body achiness. I'm tired and cranky all the time. I've taken to wearing bras 24 hours a day to keep down the tenderness there (unbelievable!...I'm NOT a big breasted woman--only a 36B!!) Plus, NOW I have a ^*%@ yeast infection!!! :irked:

I broke down and took a Tylenol last night. All we have is the extra-strength, rapid release tablets. Think that's still OK? I only took one, but it did miracles making me feel better. I know from my days as a receptionist at an OB/GYN's office that Tylenol is OK, but that was before "extra-strength rapid release". Still OK? I also recall that Monistat 7 was considered safe...is it still? I know the 3-day and 1-day aren't. My diet has been sooo good except Friday and Saturday when I had pizza each day. :(

Oh...and I'm craving jalapenos in queso sauce! I don't even like jalapenos!!

I can't really tell. But I am thinking that maybe the reason I am feeling so freaked about this pregnancy is due to hormones. I have been feeling really emotionally sensitive lately. And I have been feeling dismay that my daughter is going to have to share me too early in her life. I do know that when my hormones have acted up in the past I have felt really weepy, and that is how I feel. Perhaps I am happy about the pregnancy after all, it is just my hormones kicking in and making me feel weepy. I am going to just ride it out. We just closed on a house and have 2 weeks to paint the whole thing and move in, which has been a real challenge with a baby, so I think that the stress of the move is overloading my circuits. We have had to hire people to paint because my daughter can't be around the paint, and now that I know I am pregnant, I can't either. My DD has been really needy because she is teething, so I can't even spend 2 seconds doing anything. Oh gosh, sorry. I do think that this is all hormonal. When we are all moved in and settled, then I am going to decide how I feel. I need to give myself a break.

I can really relate the past couple days - I've been having some major mood swings and was super weepy Fri & Sat. Yesterday was better, and today seems to be ok so far... we'll see. I've decided to chalk it up to the pregnancy... It's so hard when you have so many big things going on at once - so easy to get overwhelmed. Believe me I know it's easier said than done, but do the best you can to be easy on yourself. Vent as much as you can rather than keeping it inside - I'm happy to listen if you want to pm me. And it won't last - you will feel better about it. :hug

Thanks for the assurances and suggestions, CarolynnMarilynn. I took some acidophilus earlier--how much and how often can I take it? Trying to hold out on the Monistat and thought I'd try to get some plain yogurt at Trader Joe's, if I ever feel motivated enough to leave the house! :lol Still sooo tired!

What kind of acidophilus are you taking? The only real risk to taking too much is it can cause loose stools. So if you get some, take less! :lol

Wirewendy -- hang in there and a big hug.

Yes, your dd will have to "share" you with her little sister or brother, but in my experience toddlers are very skilled and getting what they need, and it is often the baby that is put in a sling and carried around, but not as fussed over. I thought my toddler would be the one being slightly ignored, but OH NO, he got what he needed and a few times a day I would forget that I had a new one at the breast, in the sling, in the bed too and feel a bit guilty. But she was happy as a clam and it worked out fine. AND the big bonus of a sibling close in age far outweighs any 'sharing' of mama. My kids are so fortunate to have each other, and I would think that in their minds their relationship with each other is as primary as the one with me or their dad (and I would agree).

Best wishes that you get through all the house stuff and feel better soon!

I haven't been feeling as pregnant in the last few days, which is freaking me out. Maybe I am adjusting? My breasts are still as tender, but I am getting fewer groin heaviness feelings. My temp is still up, my mucus is dry as a bone and clumpy, and I get some ligament pulls if I move to quickly. Food is still a bit sensitve. So I guess it's just the heaviness in my uterus that is less intense. Anyone else? I plan on doing an hcg tomorrow to ease my mind (and to feed my OC'ness :lol)

Caroylnn - I've wondered about that, too - mostly for me, like you, I've had less heaviness/pullings/twinges.... Still some, and some different twinges than before, but definitely less. My breasts have been seeming not quite as much bigger or veiny the past couple days, but they are still SORE! I'm pretty tired today, and definitely gassy :o . This is the strangest phenomenon - how obsessed and glad we get when our bodies do things we would normally find really unpleasant and be unhappy about, and then when we don't feel them as much we get so nervous.

If I make it through this without becoming completely :flipped it'll be a miracle.

I was thinking of starting an "is this normal" thread - anyone up for that, or does that fall under this thread well enough?

I'm envious of you gals with symptoms! I don't really have many yet...the big one (in my mind), nausea, I don't have. I do feel bloated and have cramps occasionally but that's about it. I'm at 21 DPO, so just starting 5 weeks...maybe it'll get worse soon, so I can feel better! Aside from my bloated stomach, I don't *feel* pregnant right now....I'm still temping and taking a HPT every morning though so I know it's ok (I hope! I haven't yet gone to a midwife so I haven't gotten any bloodwork done yet to check my levels) I'm just trying to enjoy it as much as I can till it gets worse...but I would feel better if I started getting some nausea!!

I guess this is the ddc with not much morning sickness. I don't have it yet and I always get it. Oh well, maybe that is a good sign. I only feel gasy, moody, and tired. :lol

Nausea here! I never had it with DD, so I am a newbie. It sucks, doesn't it! At least I am not :Puke

Sometimes I have to make myself eat, but then I feel a bit better... for bit. Mostly I am just exhausted ALL of the time.

peacechief - Go for it! Start the "is this normal?" thread :thumb

Don't feel a whole heck of a lot like I'm pregnant...
I'm nervous every time I go to the bathroom. Hoping that's normal.
Other than that, nothing too unusual.
Had some really vivid dreams, but that's about it. No nausea or tenderness.

Feeling a little icky this morning. I didn't sleep well last night, so I think that's part of what is making me feel so green. I am SO :zzz

Nothing sounds good at all and I'm forcing myself to drink water.

Hoping that I don't get ms like my last pregnancy.

I'm also a little crampy, but I don't mind that. It's just a reminder that there is a reason for this icky feeling.

I'm feeling ok - worried that I'm not feeling bad enough! I'm pretty tired still, gassy, little breast soreness but not as much. I've got some pressure in my abdomin at the moment - not pain, but feels heavy/full. Hopefully that's good?? Lots of mood swings :dizzy: So far it's been mainly dh that's had to deal with them, but the poor unsuspecting librarian who answered the phone last night when I called to ask why I hadn't gotten a book I'd ordered yet took some of the brunt, too... :bag:

I felt pretty sick last night. I felt nauseous and like my uterus was strained, for lack of a better word. I had to lie down and take an evening nap before getting ready for bed, hehe.

This morning I feel fine, if not completely hungry. Oh, and the pre-cut papaya I bought from Trader Joes almost made me puke. It may just be a bad batch, so I'm going to offer it to a coworker to get confirmation on my first official, bonafide food aversion.

My first aversion was for Frusion, that yorgurt/fruit smoothie thing that I used to LOVe for breakfast. DH was sweet enough to buy 5 of them for me for my last week of summer school ~2 weeks ago. I took one and couldn't finish it. It repulsed me. DH has been slowly drinking them, but there is still one left in the fridge:lol

There have been other things. I remember before I had a m/c last time, the smell of chocolate and peanuts together made me almost vomit. DH loves the two together. ick.

Anyone having horrible headaches and migraines? I looked it up in my books and apparently they are yet another symptom of pregnancy--I sure wasn't bargaining on that! I rarely had headaches before and now it's constant! :irked:

Still tired, blah, blah, blah...same-o, same-o

I felt pretty sick last night. I felt nauseous and like my uterus was strained, for lack of a better word.

I got this feeling yesterday when I was swimming. It was so bad (like a tight straining feeling in my uterus) that I had to stop swimming that stroke.

didkisa, I've been having headaches every day too. :gloomy: Hopefully it'll go away soon.

Not feeling very pregnant here either! Mostly just constipated. I've never had many pregnancy "symptoms" but after my miscarriage I'm super nervous. So, today in the shower I gave my boobs a lil squeeze and out came a drop of colostrum. Now I feel so much better! I haven't nursed in over a year so I know it isn't left over

I'm feeling very nauseous. It's odd for me because I don't usually have morning sickness until around week 8 or 9, so I'm wondering if I'm actually further along than they think...or maybe twins boooooooooooo! I've had a ton of cravings, but can't keep them down...sorry TMI. I hate this freakin morning sickness!

I feel sooo much better today! Woo-hoo! Headache is waaaay down, almost nonexistent at times! I have much more energy, although still tired (not as much, tho'). Heartburn has started up, but I've lived with GERD for almost ten years, so that's nothing new--just worse than usual. Still no morning sickness, but I have a feeling it'll start this week. Dunno why...

Just breast tenderness here. I usually start the all day sickness around 6 weeks. Just when I think I'm not going to get it.

Must...........stay...........awake :yawning:

Other than that, I'm okie dokie. I've always been big on water, so the peeing every five minutes is old hat. I'm so tired though and don't want to get up, so I put it off until 10 minutes.

Our office mother hen seems to think that I need sweets. She keeps bringing me delicious desserts. I feign resistance, but in the end, I always cave. :yum

I feel okay. Exhausted, but that's normal with my schedule and in this heat! No throwing up yet (knock wood), but every single time I eat, I get awful stomach cramps and diahrrea (sp?). It's wearing me out.

I think nesting has started early...I feel this overwhelming need to clean everything! Just rearranged my kitchen cabinets, etc. Just need to scrub the stove and set the oven to self clean! :thumb

Now, I feel soo sick. :fever: Hot and weak and vomity...blech.

MonkeyPrincess...if you run out of things to clean at your place, feel free to come over to mine! I'm sure my messy house can keep you busy for days!!! :lol

I'm feeling so very good today! Yea! Still no nausea...what's up with that?? Bring it on, I can take it! Actually, I really needed this "feel good" day today as I've been soooo tired, cranky, achey, and the headaches have been unreal. I was due for some happy time! The calm before the storm....yeah, I know my body!!!!

Feeling ookie today. Couldn't even finish my pb toast this morning, which is like a staple for me. Couldn't finish my chocolate milk, either and haven't eaten since. I'm going to lunch w/my mom today, so hopefully I'll be able to eat something.

I am SUCH a grouch. It's really uncool. DH kept asking me what was wrong when I got home yesterday and I finally yelled at him "NOTHING IS WRONG! I'M NOT MAD!" Obviously, there was something wrong. I apologized immediately and then went to my room and cried. I really gotta figure out how to control my emotions. DH is such a doll, he went to the store and bought some of my (when I'm not puking) favorite things: Chocolate milk, peanut butter and Doritos so I can make my pickle/pb/Dorito sandwiches. Man, I love that guy. :happyt:

I'm really trying to embrace serenity for this pregnancy, but it ain't happenin anymore. I need to go running, I think.

This is my first pregnancy (5 weeks today) so I'm ever-so-watchful for symptoms and everything is new to me, but so far, I haven't had too many.

I've felt a little pulling and heaviness in my uterus and it seems like I have to pee an awful lot. My boobs are a little tender but not unbearable. I've maybe had a few slight twinges of nausea but nothing lasting. I don't really feel pregnant, which worries me a little but I suppose I should be glad that I'm not feeling yucky. :)
