Okay, I am not the craftiest person and could use some suggestions.

My boys and I are trying to make wizard capes, with hoods - I have no sewing maching, but do pretty well sewing by hand. This stuff does not come easy to me, I look at the fabric and don't know where to begin. If anyone has had success making something similar I would be grateful to hear any advice.
