We stopped going to that LLL because we moved after the new year and its now a 40-45 minute drive for us. I'm trying to get hooked up with one in my area (closer to Palmyra/Hershey/Lebanon area).

I sometimes go to the LLL at the Women's and Babies Hospital but that is about 35 min from you.

I am in Middletown, we have enjoyed driving towards Elizabethtown a few times, its a much nicer drive than towards Harrisburg on 230. What city is the LLL that you mentioned in? I have yet to make any meetings since we moved here in April (from Central FL), but I really want to because I am needing to get out and meet people around here! I have a 4 yr old dd, 2 yr old ds, and a 4 week old baby son.

I just found this site and am excited to see others from the area. I have recently moved to the Lancaster area of PA from Oklahoma and haven't done much out of my house.

I have a 4 1/2 year old daughter and expecting my second little girl Sept 19. I will be delivering at Women's and Babies Hospital (saw it was mentioned) soon enough!

Anyhoo, I'm looking for people out my way. My husband works days and since I opted to be a stay at home mom, I don't have a car! Hard to get out and socialize without one you know! LOL. Drop me a PM if any of you are in the area. Thanks!

We are moving to York county PA in a few weeks, but my dd is going to the Waldorf school near Lancaster. Wanted to know if there is a veggie cafe called Avitar Cafe near Harrisburg?

We live in Paxtang, the southeast corner of Harrisburg. Ds is 4, dd one and a half. The Harrisburg LLL meeting is Wednesdays, 2nd of the month, at 12:30, at Osteopathic Hospital, close to Union Deposit Road. We had stopped going for a while, but have good intentions to start attending again. We also enjoy the regulars at the Mechanicsburg group, just haven't been good about getting there. We're all pretty close together. It's nice to find out there are so many of us. Hope to meet y'all.

My DH and I are tossing around the idea of moving to Hershey, but my only experience is through his family- great people but not what you'd call AP, alternative etc. Elfie- does the waldorf school have a website by chance?

This isn't Elfie but I thought I would respond to you about the waldorf school. You can look it up by searching it through Waldorf schools. The official name of the school is the Susquehana Waldorf School in Marietta, PA. Good luck.
