JoAnne's is having a sale on it for 3.99 a yard. Do these work ok for AIOs? I just don't want to buy it if it doesn't work kwim? How well did it work for you?
Thanks!

View Full Version : Have you used Alpine fleece? E&Gmommy 08-09-2006, 09:25 AM JoAnne's is having a sale on it for 3.99 a yard. Do these work ok for AIOs? I have used it as part of an outer layer, pairing it with another fleece. It works okay, but I would only use such a diaper as a daytime dipe, as they do not hold in moisture as well as other fleeces. Other mamas swear by the various JoAnn fleeces. I prefer Malden Mills. :) E&Gmommy 08-09-2006, 06:01 PM Thanks for the response. So I can use it as the wicking layer? Does it work well for this in your experience? I'm new to diaper sewing so I wanted to get cheaper stuff to practice on. I've heard good things about Malden Mills, but I don't want to mess up on the more expensive stuff. |
