Ok, so I love DH and love to DTD with him (sorry if tmi). However, for the past week or so, I have lost a lot of my sex drive and it is frustrating me (and DH:wink ). I feel bloated, un-sexy, gassy, and I don't like to be touched a whole lot. DH says I am a lot less affectionate too. Is anyone else feeling this way? Any advice? Anyone know how long this will last? It is driving me NUTS:irked:
TIA

I know that with DD I was all sorts of in the mood once I reached about 15 weeks. Funny thats around the time that morning sickness went away... :lol I get this "I am a fertility goddess" kind of feeling. Feeling that womanly increases my sex drive a ton. I do have some friends that never reached that stage though, but they seemed very unhappy with the way they looked during pregnancy (seemed to feel fat and not pregnant:dizzy: ). Hopefully things will look up for you.

Yep, first trimester I don't usually feel much up for anything. But second trimester, watch out hubby!

I think it depends. With my first two, I was all "Don't touch me" for three months and then kept jumping him til I had the baby. With my third, he kept waiting for the hormone surge and, sadly for him, it never came.

lol...this has become a pattern. 1st trimester is NOT for all that stuff. It's mostly for barfing, trying not to barf, running to the bathroom, putting feet up, and trying to keep down water.
Second trimester about halfway through the 5th month....it begins to change. Then it's good...until the VERY end.

I am that way 1st trimester. Even clothes make my skin crawl. I am SOOO hyper sensative to everything.....touch, sound, smells!
Second trimester the sexyness comes back (usually)...then you get to the 3rd where sometimes you feel more like a big beached whale.

:lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol
I 100% agree! This is exactly how I feel in my pregnancies...sickness usually turns anyone off and then when you enter the "Golden age" of pregnancy...you can conquer the world..so to speak

Okay, so how do you get dh to understand this and not take it so FREAKING PERSONALLY? He is so hurt that I don't want to dtd, but I'm SO TIRED. And icky. And I just feel so bloated and unattractive. He tells me HE doesn't see me that way and thinks that should fix everything and make me ready to jump in the sack. :irked: and :( I have no idea what to do.
