I would recommend you call either the school and/or your pediatrician (or doc) and ask for a family counselor recommendation. It sounds like you need some answers and you are having trouble finding them. A family counselor would be trained to talk to you all and help you all meet your needs. Also, a good family counselor (or someone trained in counseling kids and families - it could also be a psychiatrist or psychologist) would be able to help with determining the best way to meet your children's educational needs as well as their emotional ones. If you cannot afford one, talk to the school and see if the school counselor could help.
