I am due with baby #6 late April but will more than likely be born well into May. My lmp was July 20th which would put my edd at 4/27 but my babies never come out that early without some prodding. I will be having my 2nd home waterbirth. My first 4 were hospital births and after the Hb last time, I could never deliver anywhere but home again.

This baby was very much not planned (unlike all the others) and caught us severely off guard. Dh and I were not real happy when we found out but within a few hours warmed up to the idea and are now thrilled!! We have only told a couple of people so far and plan to tell our kids and the rest of our family today. Wish us luck. I know my ILs are going to be terrible about it. With baby 5 they were very rude and she was planned! I can not wait to see what they say about this one. Luckily they live in FL and we are in MI so we do not have to see them much. Unfortunately though, they are coming for a visit and we will be spending 4 days with them next week.:irked:

I have not had any ms yet and usually do not get it. I do get food aversions and a bit of naseua but nothing debilitating so I feel very lucky.

Looking forward to chatting with all of you over the next 8ish months. :)

congratulations tnrsmom! i'm really hoping to be joining you in this thread, but i can't say for sure just yet! my dh and i haven't been ttc, rather just "letting things happen." it's a little too early for me to test, but i just have that feeling lately that i really am pregnant.... i'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for #2!

I'll join you! I've been waiting until someone else posted first here:lol

I'm also due in late april but this is my first so I'm assuming I'll go late. We're right together my lmp as 7/19, edd 4-25.

I've had a couple waves of nausea, but nothing serious. It kind of worries me because my sister and mom both have severe morning sickness. But then again they both had multiple mistake pregnancies and it took us over 2 years to concieve with meds,:shrug

I feel way behind everyone in the april ddc so I'll probably spend a lot of time here.

Nice to meet you!:thumb

ETA: I'll also be having a homebirth with the midwife I used to assist. Maybe water, maybe not, who knows what I'll feel like doing, lol

I'll switch between here and April ddc because I was due in early May w/ ds and he came 3 days early and was born in April. I guess it wasn't really early because he was full term but I meant before his dd. :D

Looking forward to chatting with all of you over the next 8ish months. :)

We are on the same cycle!!! My LMP was also on July 20th.

:o Umm presonal question here.... feel free to ignore.... when did you dtd? We did on 8/04 and I knew I had concieved.

I have had nausea and an adversion to sweets but that is diminishing as I ate an ice cream bar yesterday.

Welcome everyone!!

Velvet, I am almost positive we conceived on the 30th. This was totally unplanned as we were using bc.

Hmmm, maybe we caught the end of the cycle or I am on a 30 day cycle instead of a 28 day cycle. Oddly enough this was the first cycle I had remembered the begining of my LMP since ds was concieved. We weren't planning on another right now BUT we certainly didn't take any precauctionary measures either :lol

I usually have 26 day cycles, or at least I have the last 6-8 months. That would put us at exactly the same spot if you have 30 day cycles. I noticed ovulation on CD 9 this month and when we DTD on day 10, I did not think anything of it. We have used condoms for almost 10 years and despite having 5 kids already, we never had an oops until now. All the others were planned. I am so thrilled though. :)

I'm here....

Got my BFP yesterday! EDD is 5-5-07 I *think*

Altough this baby will probably be here in April. I went into labor with my last one at 38 weeks, and the first one was an emergency c/s at 37 weeks, so I don't know when I would have gone with him....

But either way, it's all good...

My LMP was 7-23 or 7-24, I was getting ansy so I took a test on Monday and got a very faint line, not sure if it was really a line or not sort of line. I took another one this morning and got a much more clear faint line. Still faint, but positive none the less.

So! I think that gives me a due date of May 1st with my ~30 day cycles, however both my babies were 2+ weeks overdue and c/s and I will be having a planned c/s for this one, BUT I don't want to take the baby too early (my babies were so strong and healthy I know they were supposed to go 42 weeks), so I think I'll flub my dates a little and give the docs a July 31th LMP, which would be a May 7th due date.

I'll join you too. I had a positive test 4 days ago, with a EDD of 5/2/07. I am very excited to be having a third (it took a while to convince dh). This will probably be my last since I will be 40 when this babe is born. Still keeping my fingers crossed that it sticks.

tnrsmom - hoping for good news.:hug

Hello Mama's!

Still reeling from the news, I will be due sometime in May. That makes 3 under 3 for me!
I ovulated twice last month, and it was completely unexpected. We have been doing NFP, but it didn't take into account a twice in one month bit. Velvet and Tanner, I also have the same cycle.
I ovulated a second time on the fifth of august though time #2.

Hoping for lots of baby stickies.

Oh, also I plan on having another home waterbirth, attended by a friend who is almost like a midwife and definetly a dear person I'd like to have with me.

Hi.
Tnrsmom, I totally hear you about not being excited at first but then totally warming up to the idea. The problem with me is I don't even know for sure yet. I feel pregnant, and have been getting nauseaous BUT have not have BFP or a missed period. I hope that I am. I completely hear you about telling the ILs too.....with me I am worried about telling my parents. Lately they have been going on and on about how perfect 2 children are. Darsmama, I would also have 3 under 3 if this turns out to be true.

Please send me good thoughts this way!!!

If I am it will be a EDD 05/07/07. My other home pregnancy tests have always come up negative even when I have been pregnant in the past. Therefore I am taking a test at the County Nurse's Office on Tuesday. I hope that I am not getting my hopes up for nothing.............:dizzy:

I would love to get in on the fun!! I just had a pos. test yesterday and am soooo excited! This will be baby #5 for us, and after having 4 boys, we are hoping for another boy...how funny is that! But we will be happy with whatever God blesses us with.

It looks like I am due around end of April/first part of May, which is a little bit stressful because my dh is a full-time law student and he has finals right during that time. I know its all gonna work out though one way or another.

This is my second due date club that I will have been on here at Mothering. I am looking forward to getting to know you all and celebrating this exciting time!

Hello everyone!

DH, DD and I are looking forward to welcoming #2 around May 4th. While I am thrilled, I am quite nervous as it has just been DD for sooooooooooo long . . .

Well, plenty of months ahead to worry about these things! For now, I am both queasy and excited, all at once!

They are 5, 4, 3 and 22 mos. I had them in just under 4 years. We have been taking a break for awhile and are ready to have another one. I know reading their ages might make you go whoa!!! but its really wonderful. I feel very blessed.

Actually not at all, it encourages me. We started later, I am 33 now, and we would like to have a bigger family. Its funny because I don't feel old, but recently someone who is younger than me and has a 9 year-old looked at me and said you must have been really old when you had your children. I was 30 when I had my first. Anyway, as I blab on, I also have fibroid tumors, so kind of need to have them when I can. I would love a big family. That's great that you have 4 boys and are now expecting another, no matter what the spacing. I have a close friend that would die to have her own child but after trying for many many years and is now in her 40s, they ended up adopting an older child when she was in her late 30s.

Best wishes to you. I get crap all the time about my 23 month spacing of my first two, I would love to now deal with those (SILs) with this new 17 month spacing. I have come up with some really good come-backs but they are pretty crass, so I am not going to go into them here. Their children are 5+ years apart, and have nothing in common.

Peace. Still not completely sure that I am PG or not. This was completely unplanned, but I couldn't be happier. If you get nauseous at 3 or 4 DPO does that mean twins????

MOMGOTSPUNK!!! Good for you!!! I too get a variety of comments about the spacing of our children. Its good you have your come back comments.

You remind of me one of my dearest friends. She too deals with fibroid tumors; has a daughter and a baby son and is your age! Do you happen to live in WI???:D

Not sure on the twins...would you like to have twins? I always think it would be fun, but would not want to carry twins.

I am still in a little shock about this and I don't think it has completely sunk in yet that I am pg. We tried over the summer and I was always so disappointed when a. flow showed, but now I keep asking myself, "Is this for real."

Hello! I posted on the roll call thread, but thought I'd introduce myself here, too.

My name is Jill, I have four kids - Nick is 8.5, Victoria is 7, Christopher is 4 and Dominic is just about 22mos. I am due at the end of April/begining of May, this baby was definately planned but I am not looking forward to people's reactions. :irked: Our last baby was born at home, in water :thumb and we are planning another homebirth this time. Dom was unplanned unassisted, so just in case I am planning uc, but we will call the midwife and see if she makes it in time! :p

I love seeing all the momma's with lots of babies! Can't wait to get to know everyone! Lots of :sticky to everyone!

Well after all this, AF came. I am sad. Oh well. Yes, I do live in Wisconsin.
Please keep in touch. Best wishes. I am a little jealous of you that you get to be pregnant, and that you have so many beautiful children. ;) My little daughter got stung by something on Saturday, and we ended up in the ER with her eye and half her face completely swollen. She is a little worse for the wear today. She can not open her eye at all, and it is completely swollen really big. Peace.

Sorry to hear about your little girl. She will be in my prayers.

I'm also due the end of April or the begining of May. I'm a member of the April due date club, but I have a sneaking suspicion it will be May... This will be my first so I'm expecting the pregnancy to be a little long. I'm so excited though!

Well, I may be joining too early, but I need the support. I've been spotting for about a week. But I took a pregnancy test this morning because I knew I ovulated from temperature charting and it had been 14 days since I ovulated. And I never have a luteal phase longer than 12 days unless I'm pregnant.

On one hand, I'm really excited because this was our first cycle trying to get pregnant. I was not expecting that! It took 16 months +Clomid to get pregnant with my daughter. On the other hand, the spotting has me worried. It's very light and pinkish. But spotting is never a good sign, you know. And I haven't experienced any symptoms other than mild cramping which could indicate anything. So, please, send some prayers my way if you get a chance.

Based on ovulation, my due date should be May 8th. Of course, my daughter decided to come at 36 weeks, so we'll see...

:hug 's to Jenn..Spotting isn't always a bad sign, infact my grandma ALWAYS had her period during 3 of her 11 pregnancies, crazy but true! Just to give you a little hope :)

Thanks Katie.

The spotting seems to have stopped today :1praying: And my temp is still up. It's a bit obsessive to keep temping after getting that BFP, I know. But it's so reassuring to see my temp still high. And I feel like if it drops low I'll have some advance warning, you know?

You know, I had spotting off and on with my daughter. And I had a bad bout of actual bleeding around 8 weeks--my RE did an internal exam and thought I'd miscarried! So maybe I'm just a bleeder :wink
