I'm 16 weeks along and STILL puking 10-12 times a day. I was diagnosed with HG at 10-ish weeks and have felt miserable for 14 of my 16 weeks. I kept hoping that once I got into the second trimester that things would be at least a little better. I think I'm getting worse. My throat bleeds and my teeth are killing me from being sick for so long.

Just thought I would see if anyone else was still feelin' the morning sickness ickies this late...

*Thinking of all the pregnant mamas!!*

I was sick until 16 weeks with my last pregnancy and then got better!

So it happens!

I wish you an end to the puking very soon!!!

I'm not puking so often but am nauseated nearly every night, and have tons of food aversions. Its sucks. I'm 18 weeks, and really feel like I should be done with by now!

I'm sorry you are still throwing up so much, mama. What does your mw/ob say?

It cant be too much longer for any of us, right?

I'm at 35 weeks and am still sick, so I totally feel your pain. So here's what I've done to help...
1) Take a good pro-biotic. I take Metagenics' Ultra Flora, available at LuckyVitamin.com.
2) It's a bit of mind over matter...try not to throw up by distracting yourself. Obviously there's times when this can't be done, but throwing up so often can make you dehydrated and that can make you more nauseaus.
3) If you aren't keeping down enough fluids and you're dehydrated (key sign: lips are dry) then talk to your care provider about getting IV fluids. Hydration is so important when PG.
4) Altoids or other mints with actual peppermint oil.
5) Chiropractic adjustments. I especially noticed a difference during the first trimester with this.

I hope you feel better soon!

I am 39 weeks 3 days pregnant and I still have morning sickness. It's not as bad as it was in the beginning though. I think around 25 weeks was when it got tolerable for me.

Hang in there!

I'm in my 3rd tri and thankfully out of the woods now but I was sick up to just after 28 weeks, which is when I finished work. A few weeks before I finished (I worked on check out) I had to rush off and be sick and when I got back I apologised to my customer and told her I was pregnant and she said "Don't worry dear, it stops after 12 weeks" I was like "Yeah I'm at 25 weeks now and its still going strong" :irked: Some people are just unlucky I think!! The best advice I can give is eat something dry in the morning before you get out of bed and other than that try eat things that are easy to throw up... :hug Hope you feel better soon!

I was throwing up every day til week 18 with the first pregnancy.

This one, I stopped at week 15 but the sickness was all day and worse with this pregnancy.

Occasionally, I still throw up out of the blue, usually when I have really bad heartburn. (I'm 32 weeks now)

Some things that helped me:

1) The smell of lemon, sucking lemon drops
2) laying down
3) bland foods like cottage cheese, toast etc.

The usual things like ginger or peppermint didn't help.
I still have food adversions and will til I have this baby. It's one day at a time and I really feel for you. I hope it smooths out soon!

Wow! I am so sorry that so many of us still feel crummy. I hate it!!!!!!

I am 19 weeks, and I am not throwing up every day anymore, just nauseous. I am actually feeling very lucky not to have heartburn at this stage, as I had it terribly with my DS (even when I drank water!). This baby is a lot lower apparently than my DS because I have constant pressure on my bladder (painful).

I was pretty much nauseous until the end with DS, but at least now I have a teeny tiny appetite (translation: I can hold food down for more than 42 hours! :lol) And I have gained almost 2 pounds.

I agree to the lemon suggestions. I bought a spray bottle of orange essential oil at Whole Foods and I spray it when I am in the bathtub in order to take a bath. For some reason, my bathtub smells HORRIBLE to me, and I am the only one who can smell it, even after insane scrubbings and all. And I love that sprayer!

I think it is key to stay optimistic and remember that your reward is going to be a wonderful baby. And actually, I remind myslef often that labor and birthing is going to be a cakewalk compared to this! :lol

:Hug I hope we all feel better soon!
