Bleeding???

Sorry if this is TMI, I can't get ahold of my doc...

I'm about 8 weeks pregnant, and today, earlier I felt really strong cramping, like, period pains, and I began to bleed pretty heavily...

I"m not sure whats going on, and OF COURSE DH has the car, so I can't get to the clinic...

Anybody have any ideas?

your doctor doesnt have an emergency line? have you called the hospital? i would if i were you. just to make sure everything was ok. im praying for you.

The doc finally called me back last night and sent an ambulance (with a carseat for DS) to come to the hospital...

Long story short, they couldn't find a heartbeat.

Doc wants to schedule a D&C, but Dh and I wanted to wait even if only for a day.

I am so sorry. I went through this in the fall. :hug There is a very supportive community and good information in the Pregnancy and Loss forum, if you want. Ugh, I hate that so many of us have to experience this pain. So, so sorry. Take good care of yourself during this tough time.
