Anyone use Dr. Hauschka organic skin care products? What are your experiences? Are they worth the money?
My co-op is having a class on them and how to use and apply some of the things...I'm going but I'm also interested to know what others have found.
Thanks!

I loved the Dr. hauschka facial that i've had. And I found the skin care products to be very nice, although expensive.
They did not dry my skin out at all, which was very nice.

The co-op actually had a sample bottle of lotion out today! I tried it and loved it!! I'm excited to do the facial in a couple of weeks.

I got a sample of Dr. Hauschka's Rose Day Cream from Whole Foods a couple months ago and it totally "cured" my Rosecea-ish, flaky, dry on top/oily on the bottom, sensitive skin WHEN I used it. Unfortunately, it is sooooo expensive (I think around $40 for a small bottle) so I never could bring myself to actually buy it.

Our local Whole Foods is having a huge sale on it now...I'm going to get a couple of things while it is a little more affordable.

I've tried several of Dr. H's products, and they were too heavy for my combo skin. I didn't like the fact that they use mineral oil in their skincare products either. With as much as they charge, you'd think they'd use a better oil! For the money, I recommend Juice Beauty. Organic, and paraben free, and you can pronounce all the ingredients (and can eat almost all of them).

I bought the rose face lotion too, and it made my face break out! I stuck with it for a few weeks but it never cleared up. Then I switched to the Solar Recovery face stuff (also found at Whole Foods, and a LOT cheaper, like 1/4th the price). All natural ingredients, great stuff. Use it daily now and my skin has cleared up. :)

I have the toner only, I personally like Jurlique, also an organic product from Austrailia. I have the face wash and the herbal healing serum (love it!). But as exfoliators go, baking soda is the best! I'm also thinking of switching out Dr. Hauschka's toner with Org. ACV and purified water. It has done very well for my husband who has cystic acne. We have tried everything! This seems to work for us.

My sister got me a whole mess of them for my birthday and I loved them, especially the toner. But when I went to price them with an eye toward replacing when they run out, the sticker shock was too much. No way can I afford the good doctor.
