Greetings everyone! This is my first post i this forum. Our family is seeking a midwife, in the N California area (East Bay). We would love to connect with someone who is very supportive, oriented toward the "natural" end of the spectrum, experienced with underwater birthing. As an added bonus, we'd love to connect with someone who is at least familiar with raw food.

Would be ever so grateful for any suggestions, direct inquiries, friends of friends ... any ideas at all!

Thanks,
Elchanan

you may want to try the finding your tribe area of the boards for the midwife recommendation. i'm sure you'll get a few recommendations there!

welcome!

Ellen Levitt delivered my son at home many years ago. You can try to look her up. She is completely open and will support whatever the mom wants - no vaginal exams, minimum prenatal care - just stand by and watch during labor...anything. I don't live there anymore - but she had a great reputation at the time I did. She lives (d) in Berkeley. Best wishes!

I know a great DEM in Sebastopol who is vegan and as hands off as you want her to be. Click on me to email and I will give you her info.
