What date did you use to calculate your EDD? LMP or conception date?
If I use my LMP, my due date is 6/18 and conception date is 6/23, and we all know a week is a big deal in the end!

I went by date of conception, because there was only 2 days in a 45 day time frame that we DTD......I had a D&C on July 29th for thickened lining....the Drs office orginally used that as a LMP for me, but I had an early ultrasound again yesterday...and the sac measures 6 weeks which is right on for my conception date :) They did say I was due June 3rd, but I am sticking with my June 1st date.

My conception-based due date is June 4th. I trust it because we were using OPK, I was temping and had really obvious readings. The LMP date would be May 29th and yeah, I also asked about the discrepancy as it will be a big deal when the time comes. My midwife trusts my data, but says that it's customary to use the LMP until US dating suggests an adjustment. I'd rather adjust right now, but I do trust her to listen to me so it's not such a big deal. Meanwhile I'm sticking with the June07 due date club 'cause that's the one I know is right!

I am going by my ovulation date, since I was charting with FAM. My midwife didn't even ask, she just trusted that I knew my due date.

That makes me feel better. When we found out DD I had no idea when I ovaluated so I had to go by my LMP.

I was charting on fertility friend so I'm using the date they gave me (based on O date). My LMP date is only 2 days off from the due date FF gives me.

Dh and I only dtd twice due to a really wacky schedule that cycle (a family reunion, a wedding, a bunch of bdays and family events...all meaning we were away from home and generally sleeping on living room floors with other relatives a sleeping bag away).

So I can be pretty certain of conception. This online calculator http://www.intmed.mcw.edu/clincalc/pregnancy.html gives both conception and LMP dates so you can decide which works better for you.

Since I'm a VBAC and don't want to run into ANY extra problems, I'm going with a June 8-10 due date window instead of the June 6-8 window just to buy myself a little extra time.

I don't really have a clue. I went by LMP, but have a 35 day cycle. That gave me a June 3rd due date, and a conception date of Sept 10th. We weren't active until several days to a week after that, so I think I'm due a little later. I don't do ultrasounds and am planning another home birth. I'll go by measurements and just chill about the date and not worry. My naturopath and traditional midwife are very skilled and I will trust them to help me date accordingly. The baby comes when the baby comes. Last baby was at 42+1. Not worried if this one should be slower to arrive either. I still wish I kept better track though...

I am a little confused about my dates. I planned to go off birth control pills in Mid-September after I finished my last package of pills. Then I had a strange, early (before I should have, based on birth control pill cycle) period starting - I think- September 7. Went ahead and stopped taking pills then. Figured it would take at least a few cycles to get pregnant - especially since I am 39. Took pregnancy test on 10/8 (husband insisted. He was excited at the possibility but I assured him there was NO WAY we were pregnant yet) and it was positive. Took four more over next 24 hours and they were all definitely positive ;-)

So if I date by LMP, I am due 06/16/07, but actually, I am not 100% sure if this is right. I'll ask my midwife at my first appt on the 18th.

I usually have a very clear temp. rise and can pinpoint ovulation, but this cycle my temps were a little too jagged to be clear. I know I O'd sometime between 9/10 and 9/18 but I can't pinpoint the exact day. I definitely won't use LMP since my cycles are 35-40 days long. I hope that my u/s on 10/23 will give me a better clue, otherwise, I am satisfied with using "early June" as a due date.

DH and I *should* know our conception date, we know it was a Monday, and either 9/4 or 9/11, but we can't agree on which! I believe it was the 11th, and DH is sure it was the 4th. (We weren't trying and were only "careless" once, but I didn't mark the date that we DTD. And I wasn't charting so I have no idea when I ovulated.) And my cycle has been totally wonky since it returned after DD's birth, so I don't trust The LMP date at all. A week can make a huge difference at the end, especially if the baby is late, so we're having a dating sonogram soon.

If you want to calculate your due date using your ovulation or conception date, simply count 38 weeks from that date.

This is the site I used: http://www.diaperpin.com/calculator/duedatecalculator.asp

I am pretty certain of my ovulation date too!

I'm going by LMP simply because I wasn't charting to get my accurate O date. I *think* I O'd on cd17-18 so I am just adding a few days to my due date from a normal 28 day cycle. We'll see what the u/s says on Nov. 9th.:lol

According to LMP, I'm due June 6. But my dr says I may not be as far along as we think based on the ultrasound I had last week. I do another one tomorrow and hope to be able to know more then.

I don't know when conception was because I wasn't trying so I wasn't paying attention, but my guess would be Sept. 13 or 14. I believe I experienced implantation bleeding on the 22 so I doubt conception was much later than 13th or 14th which would mean that my due date based on LMP should be quite accurate. Like I said, hopefully we get some answers with my ultrasound tomorrow. If it's still to early to do a measurement, then I'm sure we'll be able to do one next week unless I really am not as far along as I'm thinking.

So there are quite a few questions that I'm looking for answers to with tomorrow's u/s, including due date.

You said it! I'm doing the same thing!!! I want to give myself as much time as possible, since I too am VBAC, and my first babe was big, so my midwife wanted to shift my due date earlier, which resulted in a lot of stress for me when she didn't turn and they scheduled a c-section at what I believed was week 38, instead of week 39. Didn't turn out to matter anyway... but I hear you!

My O date says June 4th. My LMP date says June 14th. Better believe I'm going with that one.
