Of the people I've known personally, the ones that had alot of prodromal labor seemed to also have frequent/uncomfortable/painful BH through much of their pregnancy prior to the prodromal labor (which maybe prodromal labor is technically still BH... I don't know). I'm wondering if there's a correlation between the two? Those who had prodromal labor for weeks and weeks, did you also have alot of BH earlier in pregnancy, or have BH that were really noticeable, uncomfortable, and/or painful?
I'm in my 2nd pregnancy, and I know I don't have BH anything like my best friend did, and she had 4+ weeks of prodromal labor (finally ended up begging to be induced, but thankfully still got a pain med free vaginal birth like she wanted... just needed a low dose of pit to get her going). I'm 34.5 weeks and just now am starting to occasionally have noticeable BH, like once a week, but they're not painful at all or even uncomfortable - just an all over tightening that I can feel and say "Yep, that's a BH" for sure, whereas earlier my BH were more like "Is that a BH?" :) So I'm hoping this is a sign that I can avoid prodromal labor? :lol Last pregnancy, I never felt the BH, but definitely had them - midwife had to wait a minute for my uterus to calm down before feeling for baby... that sort of thing. I just didn't feel it internally. That pregnancy only lasted 29.5 weeks, so this whole going full term thing is new to me. :wink
