Hi mama's
I *think* this is normal but please reasure me. I'm 37 weeks and I noticed yesterday that my vagina and like inner thighs are slighly numb and possibly very very low belly. Not all the time, anyway I thought I was going crazy so I ignored it. Well about an hour ago I was making dinner and it started again... is it just the baby on a nerve?
THANKS! :)

totally sounds like baby pressing a nerve, or you sat and it compressed a nerve.

I've had that sensation before...it would go away with different positions or walking.

Hope it feels better soon!

(Gahhh, now if only our vaginas would be naturally numb during childbirth so we didn't feel anything...hehe)

poor mama:lol

at 37 weeks both my kids wedged themselves on various nerves, leaving me inconstant limbo. never knowing if i was going to have excrutiating pain or numbness.

Its normal..

try getting on your hands and knees, and rocking back and forth...side to side..then resting your head on your arms or a pillow and sway your butt side to side...also known as pelvic rocking.

it will help shift the baby.
