Florida Bound June 2003

Well . . .it's official. As soon as school lets out (I'm a teacher) I am moving to Florida. I would love to move to the Keys but I will have family in the Ft. Lauderdale area. Any Mothering mamas in the area? I am not yet a mama, but cherish my involvement MDC and as an AP proponent.

Please feel free to PM me anytime. I am a bit nervous about the move and hope I can find a great teaching position. Bugs and gators scare me, but I'm looking forward to warmer weather.

I have just gotten the official word that our family will be relocating to south Florida this summer. My husband will be working in Hollywood, but i am looking at houses in Delray to be closer to the Blue Heron Waldorf school in Boca. I have vacationed in this area my whole life and have never caught a good hippy, AP, Waldorf sort of vibe . Am I looking in the wrong places?!!! I have two wonderful boys, Jonah is 6 and Luca is 3 and I am more than a little sad about the wonderful community I am leaving behind in Cleveland. Felling engaged in a new tribe is very important to me, so let me know what you find, it sounds as though we may be facing similar transitions.- Sunshine
