I'm planning on having a homebirth, breastfeeding, cloth diapering, slinging, and becoming a SAHM. What is EC? And what are your plans?

Have a natural birth? Yes.
Breastfeed? Yes.
Co-sleep? Initially we will be co-sleeping. With both of our kids, we have had the babies in the bed for a few months, and then *very gently!* transitioned them to sleeping in a crib when they're able to stay asleep for longer periods at night--around 3-4 months.
Cloth diaper? yes
EC? No.
Anything else I'm not thinking of? I happily use my Kangaroo Korner Fleece Pouch and my Ergo to carry them a lot.

Yes to everything but the ECing. I don't think I have it in me.

EC=Elimination Communication . . . infant potty learning

Have a natural birth? Yes
Breastfeed? Yes.
Co-sleep? Yes
Cloth diaper? I'm thinking about it. :bag: My three others were all cloth diapered and I feel sort of sick of it (isnt' that horrible! :tiptoe) Plus we have coin-op laundry. I will probably end up cloth diapering and using disposables maybe at night and when out. We'll see.
EC? I don't know how I could ever manage it with everything else I have to do.:dizzy:
Anything else I'm not thinking of? I do use slings.

Have a natural birth?
we'll see how it goes. I had an epidural last time for the last 3 hours, and I really did love it, since I wasn't relaxed and able to talk to anyone or enjoy the moment at all before. But, if I can handle it, I'd definitely go without getting a needle stuck in my back! LOL

Breastfeed?
definitely. my 14 month old is still doing so.

Co-sleep?
definitely. Started co-sleeping (had been using the arms reach cosleeper) when our dd was about 1 week old and never turned back. Still haven't figured out what we're going to do about her though in terms of co-sleeping. I'm a little nervous about having a 2 year old in bed with a newborn.

Cloth diaper?
definitely. We only use disposables for trips.

EC?
maybe... I didn't hear about it until my dd was 6 months old. Tried it a little even though she was older and we had some success. Then she ended up getting really sick (intestinal bug, ear infection and bladder infection all at the same time), and then we never got back into the swing of it. But, I'm not sure if I'll have the time to devote for EC with trying to take care of both of our children.

Anything else I'm not thinking of?
Definitely will be babywearing. I'm an addict, and I make all my own and am starting to sell them, too! I'm trying to figure out what we want to do about a stroller since I won't be able to carry both of them for long distances. We've only used a stroller for jogging.

I'll be continuing my SAHM status, also!

Have a natural birth?Yes
Breastfeed? Yes
Co-sleep?Yes, but I have got to figure out how we're going to get 1 more person into our already full cramped bed (there's 4 of us in there already)
Cloth diaper?Yes, but this time I'm not going to use a service. This time I plan to do it myself and do it right this time.
EC?Going to try. I have a couple of friends who have been quite successful so I'm looking to them for inspiration.
Anything else I'm not thinking of? Vaccinating??? We delay and selectively vax.
Babywearing? Most definitely. I'm the Canadian distributor for the Ergo Baby Carrier, so baby wearing is a way of life here.

What is EC?
Elimination Communication, or baby toilet training. Parents learn to read baby's cues as to when they need to pee or poop and take them to the toilet rather than have them pee or poop in their diaper.

Yes to all the above! And we'll be using cloth diapers as backup for ECing like we did with dd. I totally dig having an EC'd 11 month old and don't see why I wouldn't EC the next babe.

I highly recommend EC to all of you! Please check out the EC board if you think you might at all be interested :thumb It works best if you start right away or within the first couple months, though I have a friend who started her son at 5 months and another friend who just started her 8 week old son.

It's so nice to have an 11 mo who is dry all night long and who most of the time will tell us she needs to potty. I didn't miss changing dirty diapers at all :p We never had to deal with diaper rash either. And we won't have to ever have two babies in diapers at the same time :wink

It doesn't work for everyone, but definitely come check it out!

ETA - I'm also planning on tandem nursing.

love and peace. :love

Good thread...

Do you plan to . . .

Have a natural birth? I've had two epidurals. Both times I had the intention of going natural. Midwives are illegal here, so homebirths are pretty costly. I had back labor with the first and couldn't take the pain. The second time I was induced and had been up the last couple nights with the flu. Had no energy to keep it up. I'm going to go to Bradley classes this time and hope to have my last baby naturally.

Breastfeed? definitely. Only did it 7 weeks with my first because I had to go back to work and didn't have a place to pump. Had a hard time getting milk to come in and baby had bf jaundice the seconde time, so I gave up. I wish I had kept it up. My current dh is a huge advocate, so he'll give me that push to keep going this time.

Co-sleep? No, I usually have a bassinet right next to the bed and do take naps with baby. I don't sleep well with baby in bed.

Cloth diaper? Haven't done it before. I'm thinking about doing a mixture of both.

I do have a sling, although I'm thinking of geting a different kind. Mine is the kind with the rings. Will also make my own baby food.

I plan to have a natural hospital birth (again), breastfeed, co-sleep (is there room for 3 babies in this bed?!?), maybe finally cloth diaper, no EC. :p

Let's see...

Have a natural birth?- We've consulted with a homebirth CPM today, and are making the final decisions. "Natural" means a lot of things to a lot of people, and for me it means treating birth as an extraordinary process that is not a medical event, and we will avoid medical intervention and really a lot of interventions period. We will create a plan and come to a comfort level if any "just-in-cases" arrive, though.

Breastfeed? - Absolutely!

Co-sleep?- Early on, yes. As the baby gets older and goes through different transitions and needs it, yes. Will they ever nap or (gasp) sleep in a bed of their own? Yes. We will be malleable, and adjust ourselves to the various seasons of life that occur that justify some well-needed flexibility.

Cloth diaper?- For the most part, although I'm thinking 'sposies for the first few meconium diapers. I have an extreme sensitivity reaction (rashes) to disposable diapers that I discovered while doing child care- a pimply rash broke out on my arms when I diapered my little charges. This was while wearing gloves- the rash started at my wrist where the glove ended.

EC?- Maybe a few times just for kicks, but I can't see this happening unless I really fall for it!

This will be an adventure, to be sure. I know the values and beliefs that we hold about our family, and I know that mutual respect is a huge part of it. I figure we'll do the best we can, leave the rest up to God, and have a good time throughout!

Do you plan to . . .

Have a natural birth? Unless I have horrible back labor & can't stand the pain like I did with dd. We plan on getting a doula this time (didn't know about them the 1st time), so I'm hoping for as natural as possible. I need a good coach.
Breastfeed? Absolutely!
Co-sleep? Definitely. We're going to get a co-sleeper, but I imagine that baby will sleep on my chest for the first few weeks like dd did.
Cloth diaper? I'll cheat & use newborn sposies until the umbilical cord comes off, but then I'm thinking fitteds & covers. I still have to do some research on what my best diapering options are. With dd, I used a diaper service and covers. Super easy!
EC? Not planning it, but I'll probably do some research before I say yes or no. I like the concept!

Babywearing? I've still got the sling I made for dd when she was a toddler, so I'll use that. But I want to figure out an Asian baby carrier too. Those look great!

Vax? We'll delay vax.

Have a natural birth? Yes, and for me this doesn't just mean having the baby come out of my hoohaw. This means no meds at all.. for me.
Breastfeed? Yep
Co-sleep? Sort of. If I fall asleep with the baby it's all good, but we have an Amby and a co-sleeper. Anywhere the baby feels comfortable.
Cloth diaper? Yep. I've cloth diapered all 4 of my kids, and have 2 in cloth now. Oy, I hope the almost 3 yr old potty trains before the baby comes!
EC? My DH is interested in trying this.
Anything else I'm not thinking of? I babywear, wait a long time before introducing solids, believe in whole, organic foods, and reduce the amount of plastic and 'stuff' in my home.
Vax? We vaxed the oldest kids, but stopped vaxing the 2 yr old at about a year. I haven't vaxed my 11 month old at all, and I'm not sure if we will. If we do it will be delayed and selective.

Have a natural birth? Yes- and at home for as long as possible
Breastfeed? Yes
Co-sleep? Yes, crib with the side off pushed up to the bed for those times when we need a little more room.
Cloth diaper? Yes, I have already started sewing them. Oh and I have knitted quite a few cute little wool soakers too.
EC? I'm so intrigued by this i need to do some more research.
Anything else I'm not thinking of? No routine infant circumcision on boy or girl.
Babywearing? I love wearing a baby. I want to build up a little collection of slings by the time this little one gets here.

Have a natural birth? I'd love to this time. My first one was really traumatic with severe pre-e, mag sulfate, and both of us almost dying. My second, I had a demerol and gravol, but we'll see with this one.

Breastfeed? Once again, I'd love to. My first never took to it and b/c of my blood loss I could only pump 1 oz. total from both breasts. My second, well she was born with her two bottom teeth and I got chewed to pieces. I pumped for a year :lol but I'd really like to with this one.

Co-sleep? We sorta co-sleep. Bump will be in the bassinet most of the time, except for the odd "4am too tired to bundle you up and put you back in so just fall asleep wherever we are" moment.

Cloth diaper? Oh yes!!!! having fun with the CD stash already!!

EC? I will prob look more into it.

Anything else I'm not thinking of? I'm definately a baby wearing gal as well!

Blessings,

Denise :wink

Have a natural birth? Yes, at a birthing center.
Breastfeed? Yes.
Co-sleep? I'd like to have the babe in a bassinet or crib next to our bed, but it's already pretty crowded.
Cloth diaper? Yes.
EC? I'd like to try doing it part time, but I'll be working 20 hours a week, and it might be too much to ask a child care provider to do EC.
Anything else I'm not thinking of? I'll definitely be babywearing, and I plan to delay vax until after 2 years, and then do it selectively. No circ for a boy.

natural birth- yes and for me this means no inductions. All 3 of mine were induced so far and I broke with my last and had an epidural.. I would like to avoid this cycle this time around!

breastfeeding- of course! My oldest was my only pooh bear that didn't receive the benefits of mama's milk :(. ds2 was nursed for a year and ds3 for 2.. I would like to see if I can breastfeed for as long as this little bean wants it.

co-sleeping- totally! my 5 yr old is still in my bed so dh and I need to find some arrangement to fit us all in there. I co-slept with all my babes.

cloth diapering- I am really interested in this. I have never done it before.. dunno why but I guess it's a natural progression of things for me. I may even consider EC but need to do a bit more research before I decide.

anything else?- I want to babywear this time around.. I am hoping this will save my poor arms. I always held my other babes (non-stop) and this seems to be a better way. I need some sling suggestions and I am even considering making my own.
Vaxing.. hmm my other 3 are completely up-to-date on their shots. This is something I am struggling with but I need to do a bit more research and I would really hate to lose my ped because he is a great doctor and my children have all seen him since birth.
Circ- my boys are all circ'd if this one happens to be another boy he won't be.. this is going to be a bit of an argument between dh and I but I will stand firm and if need be force him to watch the video. (this is what pushed me over after I watched it I cried for 3 days.. I feel terrible that I let this happen to my boys)
I will be making my own baby food this time around.. I am finally in a position that I can.
Homebirth.. as much as I really would enjoy doing this it's really hard to find a midwife where I am at. I don't know the specifics on what happened exactly but a few years ago something happened and it's like they all went underground. I can't afford to pay out of pocket so I am truly hoping that my OB listens to what I want and I am having my aunt there when I am in labor to make sure my birth plan is followed.

Hey, just in case it comes up again in the future I just wanted to let you know that bf jaundice is not something you need to give formula for but docs/peds are usually pretty misinformed about it unfortunately and give wrong info. They tried to do the same thing with me. If you want some links I'll send them.

And for anyone who had issues bfing (myself included, only made it 4 mos ebf ds due to bad information/lack of support) www.kellymom.com is an awesome site and something I plan to use to double check anything the ped tries to tell me. Also LLL meetings are a great place to get support. I plan on going when I am more pregnant. :)

Natural Birth Yep, planning on doing a homebirth using hypnobabies
Breastfeed Yes but will have to pump and bottle feed due to working part time.
Co-sleep Probably not. Neither dh nor I could ever get very comfortable with it and ds did better in the crib (maybe he sensed our discomfort?). However I realize every baby is different and if that's what this baby needs then dh and I will just have to adjust.
cloth diaper yes
EC thinking about it
Anything else I'm not thinking of We will sling, no circ this time (poor ds is :( ), and no vax.

Breastfeed? Yup, as long as this babe wants too.
Co-sleep? Yup.
Cloth diaper? Yup, from the first dipe.
EC? Have thought about it.
Anything else I'm not thinking of?
Circ - NEVER, regardless of gender.
Vax - No
Vit K - Hopefully no. Oral if it's a traumatic birth.
Tandem nurse - yup, if ds is still nursing
Babywear - of course!

Have a natural birth?

I will have another Unassisted Prenancy/Birth

Breastfeed? Yes, we CLW

Co-sleep? I am currently cosleeping with 3 kids because we are doing some renos. Hopefully we are done by July or I will be VERY crowded :lol I imagine I will only have dd and the new baby by July. I really want a Happy Hangup though for the occasional nap or when I reallly need my hands free to help one of the other 3 kids.

Cloth diaper? Yes.

EC? Nope. Did it with my 1st, started with ds2 and it didn't work out. Couldn't be bothered with dd and no interest this time.

Babywearing? Of course.

Vax? Never have and never will.

Circ? No

We are of the simple living/wood toys and natural materials variety.

Have a natural birth?

God willing, a natural birth in a birth center, maybe a water birth

Breastfeed?

Yes, definitely.

Co-sleep?

Our bed is very soft, so we will probably use an Arm's Rest co-sleeper or something like it. Or maybe a snuggle nest in the bed. But definitely in the same room: we have no nursery! Once babe is a little older I think they will be able to sleep right in the bed with us.

Cloth diaper?

We'll be hiring a cloth diaper service. Third floor walk up and laundry is in the basement. But see below...

EC?

Yes, from birth! Totally excited to EC. I remember changing my brother's diapers, and I am all for anything I can do to minimize the number of poopy diapers we have to change. I love the idea of EC.

Other stuff: I think we'll be using Hypnobabies for relaxation during labor and birth.

Do you plan to . . .

Have a natural birth? Yes, this should be my 4th homebirth.

Breastfeed? Definately!

Co-sleep? Yes, we normally cosleep for about 2 years....when the little one is big enough to be excited about sleeping in a "big" bed of their own then we transition them into their own room(or in with their siblings)

Cloth diaper? Totally! I can't wait to pick up some new stuff for my stash.

EC? Na, I just don't have the time for that with 4 kids already.

Anything else I'm not thinking of? We will not be vaxing or circing either.

boheime

Natural birth? This will be our third UC with baby 3!

Breastfeed? Yes - CLW and I will be tandem nursing

Co-sleep? Yes - all of our kids still sleep in the family bed and I don't see them deciding to change that before this baby comes. We will have three kiddos in our bed - it's a good thing we have a King/Queen bed.

EC/cloth dipaer? I thought I would EC with my first. However, I'm a low supply mom and I felt my energy is best spent working to give my kids every drop of breastmilk possible. We mainly use cloth.

Vax? Definitely not! Neither of our kids is vaxxed and this one won't be either. We learned how horrible vaxes can be the hard way with one of our dogs (being a responsible owner, you know?) and would never do that to another living creature.

All of our children are fully intact - no cosmetic surgeries or body altercations. They can choose those things when they are older, if they like.

Babywearing? Yes, and toddler wearing and preschool age wearing. I still occassionally wear my 2 and 4 yr. olds at the same time. However, that hasn't happened as much lately, as I have been feeling exhausted during this pregnancy. I'm hoping that lifts in a couple of weeks.

We'll also be unschooling from birth, have natural, simple toys, etc.

Have a natural birth?
Yes. We're planning for a homebirth and we're interviewing midwives beginning next week.

Breastfeed?
Yes. If all goes according to my hopes and plans, I will be tandem nursing for at least a few months. My youngest will be 15 months old when this baby is born.

Co-sleep?
Yes. Possibly with two babes for a while, but we'll see.

Cloth diaper?
Another "we'll see." I have very few NB cloth diapers, and when I'm in that tired and cranky postpartum stage, I hate doing laundry so I usually end up using sposies. I have tons of CDs for 3mo and up (depending on the baby's size) so I will be CDing then.

EC?
No, that's not something I've never had the motivation to do.

Have a natural birth?
Yes. Having our first homebirth experience.
Breastfeed?
Yes. Maybe tandem nurse if ds hasn't lost interest by then (I doubt it!)
Co-sleep?
For a little while unless we can't sleep so well. My dh was so nervous about rolling ontop of our last one that he couldn't sleep.
Cloth diaper?
Would love to. I need to do some research on how. I'm clueless.
EC?
No - that seems like a lot of work!__________________

Natural birth? Yes. Hopefully a second homebirth.

Breastfeed? Yes. Mostly CLW.

Co-sleep? Yes. In whichever arrangement allows for the most comfort and sleep for everyone.

CD/EC? Probably not.

Vax? Yes, selectively and with some delayed.

Circ? No.

Babywearing? Yes. I work from home - in front of computer all day. When babe is not ON me, s/he will be right next to me in little bouncy. Funny story though - I wore/nursed my last baby so much while working. In effort to keep my right hand free for one handed typing, my left boob ended up being quite larger than my right. Very unbalanced lol.

Natural birth: Absolutely! My babies are too young to do drugs!

Breastfeed: Actually probably going to be triandem nursing... have a 4 and 2 yo also!

Co-sleep: Yes, but first, I need to get ds use to sleeping on other side of me, so newborn can go next to wall. Newborn can NEVER be next to dh (he rolls on top of them) and never next to other kids, they could potentially roll on top of baby also. Only mommy is allowed to sleep next to newborn.

Cloth diapering: part-time

EC: no

Circumcising: NEVER!

Vax: selective/delayed

Babywearing: How else would I get anything done?!:lol

Breastfeed[/B] Yes but will have to pump and bottle feed due to working part time.

I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but do you mean that you pump and bottle feed exclusively b/c you have to work part-time? or do you mean you are going to breastfeed, except when at work, and then baby'll get a bottle? Because, if it's the first one, you can breastfeed whenever you're with baby; it doesn't have to be all-or-none. (I work also, and have been pumping for 4 years!... YUCK!)

Have a natural birth? I'm gunnin' for a VBAC this time so yeah natural is the way to go for that goal.
Breastfeed? I can't wait to nurse a wee newborn again!
Co-sleep? Yes. My dh is talking about a kingsized bed!
Cloth diaper? I loved cloth diapering last time and am looking forward to it again.
EC? I have a great friend who does EC so I know it rocks but I haven't been swept away by the idea, yet.
Anything else I'm not thinking of? This time I want to keep up with the baby signing. My ds was verbal pretty early and that took a lot of my motivation for keeping up signing (ASL) once he started saying words.

I will be breastfeeding, slinging, and sharing a room with the babe, but none of the other options.

YUCK!)

Yeah maybe I should have been more specific. I'm going to pump for while I'm at work but will bf when at home. I remember how awful pumping is (I can't believe you've done it for 4 years! :bow ). I wish my goal could be no bottles ever.

I take off a year for maternity leave, so my baby's never actually got bottles, thank God... they probably are a pain in the a**! I teach my kids how to drink from cups at 5 months. Well, got to go pump! :irked: (BTW, some people ask why I still pump when ds is almost 2 yo. I do it to keep supply up, so that my breasts are use to making milk all day; so when I"m home on weekends, holidays, vacations, summer vacation-i'm a teacher- i"m still making milk all day.)

Have a natural birth? Yes, at home with a midwife and a birth pool available for laboring and/or birthing.

Breastfeed? YES!

Co-sleep? I'm not sure what I want to do here; I have a soft bed and need lots of blankets... I was thinking about a bassinet early and a sidecar for later, but if we can co-sleep we will.

Cloth diaper? Planning on cloth diapering at night

EC? Yes, from birth. I've done a lot of reading and I lurk on the EC board for tips and help. My DH was EC'ed because he was born in another country, so I know it can be done.

Anything else I'm not thinking of? I am going to hire a doula for labor, birth, and post-birth care. I will be baby-wearing and taking baby with me to work (it's an ideal situation here). I plan on delaying (maybe permanently) vaccinations, not circing if it's a boy, exclusively breastfeeding for as long as possible, making homemade baby food when the time comes, hoping to raise a vegetarian baby (DH is adamantly against this last one, but supportive on everything else).

natural birth-i hope so. maybe even a homebirth. still working on the details of that. :)
breastfeed(ds nursed til just last week! 21 months)
cosleep-yes! ds is slowly transitioning to a twin bed, but he'll be with us awhile longer yet, and i like it. :)
cloth diaper-yes! started when ds was about a month old and have never looked back!
ec-no. not for me, but totally respect those who do.

Do you plan to . . .

Have a natural birth? Yes, at home
Breastfeed? Yes, tandem
Co-sleep? Yes, ds might still be in bed too, though I hope he is in a separate bed in the same room.
Cloth diaper? Yes, (meconium is not bad on cloth! we had no issues with ds)
EC? I'm thinking about it. I sort of do it sometimes with ds (started late), but I can't get him to poop on the potty. It seems like EC is a little more work at first but pays off big time with less work later.
Circ - No way
Vax - No
Vit K - probably not (also would consider if traumatic birth)
Babywear - you bet

Natural birth: This will be my third UC.

Breastfeed: Yup

Co-sleep: Yes.

Cloth diapering: Yes, though sometimes I get sick of doing laundry and buy a pack of disposables. Having two in diapers is a lot of laundry.

EC: I'm seriously considering it for this baby.

Circumcising: Nope.

Vax: Never have, never will.

Babywearing: Yes but not exclusively.

Since I'm UPing I probably won't have much to post about but I'm trying to get excited about this super-surprise baby so I thought I'd join an EC.

I'm a radical UCer and I pretty much always get censored when I post here, but I will try my best, as I always do, not to upset anyone.

I'll let you know when I have my baby and maybe will drop in once in a while when I can.

Cheers,

Alice

Natural birth: This will be my third UC.

Alice, WOW! That is awesome! Don't worry, you won't offend me, I think UC is great (although we've chosen to have a midwife for our first). For everything else:

Have a natural birth? Yes! Midwife attended home/center birth.

Breastfeed? YES!

Co-sleep? Yes, we have a crib we're going to sidecar on our full-size pillow-top bed. :wink

Cloth diaper? Yes

EC? Not sure, but I'll probably try it.

Anything else I'm not thinking of? DH is my birth coach :love, we both plan on babywearing, we're not vaxing, and I'm a SAHM!

Oh, I'd probably LOVE to hear what you have to say! I LOVE UC philosophy/stories!!! (Are yours posted somewhere to read?)

Have a natural birth? Planning a homebirth
Breastfeed? Probably Tandem Ds is still nursing strong
Co-sleep? we may need a king, DS is still in our bed but is showing some interest in the toddler bed at the foot of ours.
Cloth diaper? I am a cloth diaper junky, I can't wait to add to our stash, every baby deserves at least a few new dipes right?
EC? We dabble, I may get more serious with this babe
Anything else I'm not thinking of? Selective delayed vax , NO CIRC, baywearing, natural toy loving family! I am happy (and lucky) to say DS never had a single bottle and never wore a single disposable diaper.

Oh, I'd probably LOVE to hear what you have to say! I LOVE UC philosophy/stories!!! (Are yours posted somewhere to read?)

I've posted them in a couple UC groups and they were published in the New Nativity II last Winter/Spring (? can't remember which issue) but I don't think they're anywhere that can be easily found. I've been planning on putting them on a website, when I get around to doing one, if I ever stop getting pregnant...:lol (One of these days I'll get around to a siggy but in the meantime I'll just say that this is my third baby is less than four years, eeeks!!!) Now I'm going to go and either make dinner or barf, haven't figured out which yet.

Have a natural birth? Yes, I wound up with a shot of Nubane in transitition both times so far. I have discovered Ina Gaskin (love her books) and I think I have discovered where I am getting hung up. So I hope to go totally natural this time. (Actually I really hope to have a "oops, the babe came so fast I never left the house" birth)
Breastfeed? Yes have nursed my boys to 22, and 21 months salf weened. Can't imagine anything else
Co-sleep? Combination of co-sleeping and arms reach till around 12 months then gentle transition to sharing room with older brothers.
Cloth diaper? Yes, 'sposies for travel only
EC? Did not know about this until about 6 months ago. We are seriously considering it.
Anything else? I love my slings!! I have been a sling advocate since my nanny days long before we had our own children. I am missing carrying my now 32 month old, 28lbs (but I spot when I carry him for more than 2-3 minutes:( )
I will continue my status as a SAHM and home schooler.

VaxVery delayed -not at all
CircWhy would I start now?

I plan on having a natural home waterbirth (like the last one) we will be breastfeeding (still bfing my 16 month old) - maybe tandem nursing too, cloth diapering (sposies at night and when traveling), not vaxing and if I can talk DH into it - not circ-ing if we have a boy. We will co-sleep and use our arm's reach co sleeper as long as it is comfortable (transitioned dd to her crib around 10 months when she was too mobile and wanted to crawl all over us and play all night :lol). We also love babywearing and I plan to splurge on a new wrap to add to my collection once the new babe gets here. Also thinking of trying EC'ing and want to read more on it...

Have a natural birth? home water birth VBAC style
Breastfeed? BFAR with an SNS and donated milk
Co-sleep? still co-sleeping with my 2.5 yo dd so for SURE with this baby
Cloth diaper? from the start. being fairied TONS of newborn and infant dipes! and i have the toddler dipes from DD
EC? thinking about it. not sure yet. it SEEMS better, but i dont know how i would deal with it, and being a bfar mom and all that comes with that, AND having a toddler (who IS potty learned), and going back to work (WAHM childcare) at 3-4 mo PP.

we also plan to babywear ALOT. we LOVE keeping our babies close to us. and no vaxing. NONE. and if its a boy he will remain intact.
