Hi, I recently found out that I have a unicornuate uterus with non-communicating horn on the left side. I had a c-section with my daughter 18 months ago at 26 weeks. I had many miscarriages before that and feel blessed to have what I have. Since my doctor feels the removal of the horn isn't necessary, we are going to get pregnant next week sometime, I have no problem conceiving. Of course being chopped open and my daughter taken away was still a blessing, I desire a vaginal birth even if it is in a hospital. I don't think midwives are allowed to do VBACs in NM. Anyways, is there anyone out there with a unicornuate uterus that has any advice? Even if you don't have a UU. I think mine is actually quite roomy since the horn is so tiny. Are there breech concerns?

found an article on a woman with a unicornuate uterus who had twins http://home.earthlink.net/~hrair/unicorn.html I guess one was vaginal and one was a c-section..

Wow, that was incredibly informative and promising. I am a little freaked out from a previous reply I received on another thread and that really helps me feel better. Even though I have had a few early miscarriages and one preemie, I still have hope that there is a very good chance for a vaginal birth of a closer to term baby.
thanks again.
