:o I'm a nerd.
Anyway, I am in the quandry of feeling starved, and at the same time running into some nausea and food aversions. Mainly meat, which is annoying.
So, I'm running across things I am actually able to eat, and here they are:
- avacados
- olives
- pickles
- apples with peanut butter
- hummus on everything
- crackers
What are you eating/ or avoiding?

With my first, I was running away from meat! I do like chicken, but that was a BIG turn off for me.
Now, I have been downing meat like crazy. I had to (major craving) make a Beef Burgandy last week (mushrooms, wine, beef, onions and such), but that was before I knew I was pg. I have also been eating a lot of cheese. Mmmm.... I love everything you mentioned. How about artichoke hearts to go with your nice little array. Oh, except for the pickles.... I haven't really eaten them since my last pregnancy (bad story). I do like pickled okra, but that is really more of a southern thing.
I haven't gotten sick yet this time. I am a little nervous over that one, but I have been kind of hungry. A friend today though told me that she hasn't been sick at ALL with her 2nd baby so hopefully everything is okay with mine! Time to go eat the stew that has been cooking all day. I LOVE my crock pot.
One more thing, I have noticed that I can really taste the salt in stuff now. Lunch tasted overly salty, and I could REALLY taste the tiny little bit of salt in last night's dinner. Last time around, I wanted salt. Now, it is almost too strong! Anyone else having a sensitivity to salt or sugar or the like?

Salt... mmmmm, salt.
I just got home from class and polished off an enormous deli pickle and two bags of Irish potato crisps (buffalo flavor). And bought a bottle of tabasco sauce for the hummus DH is bringing home.
I think I'm officially in this thing.
(I am eating healthy food, just so you know. But the crisps were not to be resisted)
we have a lot of unhealthy food in our house right now from my parents coming in town recently- my mom thinks we don't have enough junk food I think. So I have been eating a lot of that:o But what I am really craving. . . and this isn't much healthier. . . is a gyro. I want greek food so bad, I think after the gyro I could just eat a greek salad for the next 5 meals and be happy. Greek food sounds sooooo good to me though, first a gryo though!

I can stomach bland things best. I also have an aversion to meat this time, which is odd to me because it was all about meat with my other three. And, you know what, my throat is tightening up and I'm about to vomit so I have to stop talking about it now.:o

Pickles
olives
Jalepeno poppers
Chinese food
Those all sound so good to me.
Also I am a vegetarian and some meat is starting to sound good to me, except the thought of Beef Burgandy. Some good old fried chicken sounds good or maybe a deli sub.
Most things I have been eating taste terrible and make me feel sick.

I have been craving warm and hearty comfort foods - meats, soups - mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, etc. I don't have any real aversions - salads and cold things just don't sound good.
Today was the first day that I felt a little "blech" before even getting out of bed - nausea usually doesn't hit me until later in the day - or after I eat....
