From the moment I found out I was pregnant, I had a really strong feeling that it's a boy. I felt like it was a girl with my dd, and that turned out to be right. I think part of me want another girl this time, just because the kids will only be 16 months apart and I think it would be cool if they were sisters, but when it comes down to it I really don't care.
This pregnancy is already very different from last time, so I think that is influencing some of my boy vibes. Anyone else?

Wow, I'm thinking this one is a girl, but I was WRONG with BOTH of my other two. Does that mean this one is really a boy?? Hmmmmmmmmm
Will you find out if you have an ultrasound? I think we will. Although a surprise would be fun, I don't know if I can wait....... BTW I am a sonographer and my friend will do my scan. I don't think I could stand her knowing and not me.

Hmmm... I think it's a boy this time. I've been right with all 3 of my previous babies. I don't usually get U/S's and if for some reason I have to, I don't find out. I like it to be a surprise. I have 2 boys and 1 girl, so a girl would be nice to even the score, but I really don't care. Just healthy and a safe delivery. I do have a feeling it's a boy though, and if the truth be known, I would love to have twins!:eek

Wow! That's pretty amazing.
I am making no predictions with this pg. Last time we thought DS was a girl even after he was born. The MW put him on my belly right after he came out and we were still calling him "her". DH lifted his leg a little and said, "uum, SHE'S a BOY!" :lol
So yeah, I won't be saying if I think it's a boy or a girl, though I'd like to have a girl this time.

I had no idea with my first two. I knew without a doubt early on with my third (and I was right). This time I'm thinking boy, and kicking myself for allowing me to think that. The main thing I'm going on is that this pregnancy is, so far, vastly different than my others, which were all just alike. I know it's not much, but that's my only "hunch" so far. I plan on being surprised this time (we found out with all of our others) but I hope the little bean lets me know beforehand because I hate surprised. :p

We think boy this time. Last time with dd I was craving CAKE and this time I'm craving BACON :dizzy: We sorta knew dd was a girl last time  I'd be perfectly happy either way though!
love and peace. :love

I'm suspecting it's a boy. Funny thing is that I realized in retrospect that a few days after conception we were talking about possible names (we've been doing this for over a year :lol) and for the first time both agreed on a boy's name that just suddenly seemed right to us... the funny part is that the exact same thing happened with DS-- we decided on his name about a week after I got pregnant just out of the blue, but at the time we had NO suspicion that I was pg (we were just talking about a future "hypothetical" child). For both DS and this one we did not tell anyone our name choices until after the baby was born.
We'd be happy with either a boy or girl. We're pretty certain we only want 2 kids, and I've always wanted a daughter... but I also can't help thinking how nice it would be for DS to have a brother, so either way is great with us!

I am feeling girl. With DS I instantly thought boy and then some people got it in my head that we were having a girl so I began to think it too. The sonographer even told us we were having a girl until the 36 week sono she changed to a boy. BTW I never gave totally into the idea of a girl, I did not like the name we had agreed on and I even registered for some little boy clothes and could not stand it when dh would call the baby by the name we had picked.
So I am going to go with my first instints for a girl and not find out this time and be surpirsed.

I have strong feeling this is going to be my girl.. the only one I was accurate with was ds2. I felt for sure he was a boy.. the other two I was unsure of. I don't know if I am just really hoping for a girl and that's why I think this one is or what..
ETA: according to the chinese birth chart predictor this one is going to be a girl. I guess time will tell. :lol

Everyone is saying girl (including that Chinese gender predictor thing), but after having 3 boys I am skeptical that DH and I can have girls :lol So, I would say this is going to be a boy because of that.

:lol Same here.. don't jinx my logic! :lol You never know it really could be a baby girl.. but I am seriously unsure how to care for a girl. :o

With dd, I (and dh) knew it was a girl, right from the beginning, even though boys run in dh's family. With ds, I (and dh) knew for a fact it was a boy (and his dying grandfather's last words were, as his hand was on my swollen belly, 'it's a boy... he's healthy'. He died 20 mins later. I could cry, it was so sweet- dh was VERY close to him!) With this one, I don't have a strong feeling either way, but dh and I both agree we're tending more towards boy. I am going to find out. Hey, I have to know which bins to take down from the attic... boy or girl? :lol

Here's the thing: I have two sisters and one brother. My older sister has 2 girls, my younger sister has 3 girls, I currently have 3 girls and my brother? Has 2 boys. It would just be so WRONG for my mom's 11th grandchild to break that hilarious symmetry.
In our household, however, we have 4 girls and 1 boy. Everyone is putting in their orders for a boy to help balance out the genders.
As for me, I truly don't have a preference (nor do I have any intuition about this baby's gender). Girls are certainly my comfort zone, but I'd also love to mother a son. (My stepson is currently 14 and was 12 when I met him, so that's a different parenting experience entirely from what I'm meaning. :) )

I keep thinking very happily about either gender, but everyone (including a coworker who rushed up to me the day after I found out I was pregnant and screeched- "You're having a baby! I can just tell in your eyes!") is insisting girl. I will continue to lovingly refer to my little peanut by both genders, and look forward to the day when I can reach down, pull the babe out, and see for myself! :lol
(I did have a dream about a girl last night...)

OK, so in the beginning I was thinking maybe boy, but since then, I've actually had a feeling it's a girl. So, we'll see.

:lol Oooh man, DH and I need to spend some time together reading my old Genetics texts. I told him about this thread, and asked him what his feelings were. He said, "Oh here we go- this is how you women do this. You get all excited about a girl, and will it to happen. Now it's going to be a girl."
:rotflmao  Now, I know some species of critters (lizards? fish?) can "will" the gender of their offspring into being, but I don't think I have that power.

I have no idea. DD is convinced that she's going to get a baby sister. DH wants a girl too (mostly to keep dd happy :lol). If we have a girl she'll be the first girl to come from dh's paternal side of the family.

Yeah, dd is convinced it's a girl. She says "i already have a brother, i need a sister" and when i asked the baby, he said "shishter, no boy baby in mommy belly, girl baby in mommy belly":lol I tried explaining to them that God could bless us with either.

I'm about 6 weeks in and I haven't had any inclination either way. I think we'll wait till birth to find out the sex so i'm in for a long wait...

I've always felt like we'd have a girl first. I've been referring to the baby as "she", and I just feel like it's a girl. We're not having a u/s done, but DH and I did the ring test and Chinese gender test, just for fun. Both girl. :D

I'm really hoping for a boy, so that's what I'm going to go with. I already have 2 girls. This will be my dh's first child and he would love to have a boy to go do guy stuff with. I've been sending out boy vibes since before I was pregnant. I can't wait to find out.
It will be fine if it's a girl. I already have lots of girl clothes around.

The chinese gender thing said boy last time for me and it was a girl - this time it says girl - maybe that means boy :lol
My sister had a dream it was a boy - and my friend swears she "feels" boy - and since we were charting - I know we had sex the day before we O'ed - so the shettles method would say there is more of a chance for a boy sperm to make it to the egg...
I can't tell either way - I had no idea last time either - I am going to start asking DD if it is a boy or a girl and see what she says...:p
