This really wasn't the best timing for us. Dh is trying to become a PA state trooper, and will probably be away at the academy April to September. Baby's due 7-22. I hope he can make it home in time for the birth (my first was 5 1/2hr. and 2nd was 3 1/2 hrs. TOTAL!!!); my sister's getting married in jamaica 2 wks before due date... I can't be her matron-of-honor; cancel the Disney trip we had promised dd, planned for June (unless dh got into the academy, then it would've gotten cancelled anyway- although i"m going to try to see if we can go over Easter break-i'm a teacher); not to mention I'm goong to be home for 2-3 months, BY MYSELF with a 4yo., 2yo., and newborn, all who nurse:dizzy: ; we don't have alot of money and have some debt (not much- but it drives dh crazy) b/c I just got back from a year maternity leave with ds!; we need to buy a mini-van b/c we can't fit 3 kids into our little car... Anyway...
At first, dh dropped the test on the floor, closed his eyes and shook his head. Then after awhile, he hugged me. Soon afterward, he joked around about how he's going to have to "get something done" b/c we're going to end up with 8 g** d*** kids because he finds me so hot, he can't keep himself from "doing that" "in there". :lol Then, in the middle of the night, when he finally came to bed, he held me and said (I dont' remember exactly as I was half-asleep), "I think this is testamount to how God feels about you; that you're such an incredible mother, that he blessed you with another to grow inside of you and take care of." :throb Very sweet! I wrote him a note this morning (as I always do) before leaving for work, and asked him if he was ok. and I told him that he can talk to me about ANYTHING if he needs to, b/c he should remember that I'm his wife first. We're in this together.

Yeah and I forgot to mention, the reason I was so shocked by his reaction is that he adamently didn't want another baby (said he'd MAYBE consider another next year, MAYBE) and he has alot of anxiety. So, when the test came up positive, I thought, (you all know, with that feeling in the pit of your stomach:( ), "oh, man... this isn't going to be good..." But he surprised me. Thank god! I really love him!

That's great he's happy. My dh made me feel better yesterday too, since I've been a little blue abou this. Afte I got off the phone with the insurance lady, he said to me "Well, we got money back that we weren't expecting, so maybe God planned for us to get pregnant and knew we'd need the money for the baby". It just made me feel better, because he seems less worried and more happy as well. He was smiling and laughing the other day when I said it was prob another boy and I'm getting more out-numbered.
