Anyone speak fluent Italian? I've been wanting to learn for years. I try and I know a bit but I've never had the time to really study. So now I'm looking for movies or CDs that not only introduce Italian language but that also are interesting to watch and hear. :-) So just something you like :D

O, and I will add my italian is shaky. Especially when it comes to the writing part. Speaking is much easier or understanding. I still have plenty of work to do! :bag:

My husband's family is in Cervaro, which is between Napoli and Roma on the interstate. My brother in law lives in downtown Roma.

Sì, parla italiana. Male comunque, molto a costernazione della mama mia. Nota, lo ha aiutato a scrivere questo anche.

I probably messed that up!:lol. My mom and aunts used to speak in Italian to us as kids. It was like everything tanslated in our heads and only came out in English. As an adult, I speak pretty half-baked Italian. I correspond with a few of my cousins in Italy. When my brother and SIL were expecting their last baby I wrote (in Italian) to tell my cousins the good news. They wrote back to my mom congratulating her on a pregnancy this late in her life.:scratch

Gabbi, my mom and dad used to speak in Italian when they didn't want us to know what they were saying too. It didn't work out too well for them :wink We usually understood.

My mother's family is from Caserta. If all goes well, we are going there this summer.

Sei anni fa, abitavo a Firenze per tre mese e ho studiato italiano. Era un'estate che non dimentichero, ma non ho parlato molto (parlo MOLTO, ma non in italiano!) da allora ho ritornato. Ho due bambini (un figlio che ha 2 anni, e una figlia che ha 4 mese), e leggiamo 2 o 3 libri italiani, e ascoltiamo al'una CD di musica italiana, e guardiamo un DVD per ragazzi che chiamata Muzzy (conoscia questa?). Spero che miei bambini parleranno un po d'italiano quando saranno piu vecchio.

Il film migliore che ho visto mentre abitavo in Italia era "Le Fate Ignorante." Lo suggerisco; e` un bel film.
