View Full Version : Is Hylands Homeopathic HEADACHE formula safe when pregnant?

I hate to take tylenol but I have get a headache now and then, and sometimes they are so bad. Does anyone know if Hylands Headache formula is safe???

Here are the ingredients:
Formula:

Iris Versicolor 3X HPUS - helpful for neuralgia occurring in the morning, beginning around the eyes and eventually involving the whole face. Useful in frontal headaches with nausea.

Gelsemium Sempervirens 3X HPUS - relieves headache accompanied by sore neck and shoulders.

Ipecacuanha 3X HPUS - for symptoms when bones of the skill fee crushed or bruised. Pain extends to teeth and root of tongue.

Belladonna 6X HPUS - for righ sided throbbing headaches, sometimes similar to migraine.

In a base of Lactose (milk sugar), N.F.

Available in bottles of 100 quick dissolving tablets

Yes, they are safe. In general, homeopathic remedies are diluted (potentized) past the point where any of the original molecules of the substance used to create the remedy remain. However, in the low, low potencies (like the x potencies in your remedy), they are not diluted to that point (Avogadro's Number). Anything 30C and above would be that dilute.

That's just for your info. The amounts that are in the Hyland's formula are unbelievably dilute, so they really are fine. It is really just sugar (lactose), and is harmless.

Go ahead and try it. I have used homeopathy throughout my pregnancy. In my opinion, there is nothing safer, or more beneficial.
