I know I will have a big list here but I can't think of everything now

-I have a bag of really girly pink flowery baby clothes mostly 0-3, 3-6 months
I prefer bright colors for boys or girls so I know I wont' use these with the next baby. I think there are 2 fancy outfits from a company called petit batau or something french like that they sophia never wore. also some sleepers and onsies, all pinkity, pink, pink

-I have a stack of bleached prefolds. They are either premium or toddler sized. They are secondhand to me and I don't need them. I have washed them. I want to pass them on to someone else . . .

-I have a package of breastmilk storage bags

-I have a pair of pink and purple striped longies. They were gifted to me and are too small for sophia. I'm not sure what size they would fit. Maybe a 3-5 month old? If you are interested I will measure them. They are really cute.

I have a set of fancy water and tumbler glasses. Not my style, too fancy!
I also have a strange (strange that I have collected them over time, not actually strange) collection of heart shaped candle "trays" (the thing you set candles on to collect the wax...) in all sizes. I would love to give the whole set away :) They are all silver-esque :)

Gender neutral clothes size newborn

Some size 12 momma clothes. I think there is an almost new pair of jeans, a pretty blue skirt with flowers, and some other stuff. I will need to make sure it is size 12. Will revise later...

A decorative green pitcher with a pear on it. Not for food use but looks pretty with something in it. Not as funny looking as it sounds.

Will edit and add more later.

A few very good condition girls' outfits, size newborn-9 mos. Mostly pink and girly, mostly summer styles.

A few (3?) 100% cotton Nikki's covers, size newborn or small.

Some cute red-check, eyelet kitchen curtains, for 2 windows. Not sure of the measurements; pm me for that. Great condition; homemade.

That's all I can think of for now; more later.

I know i'm going to be adding more to my list... but here is a start.

Lotions and bath stuff, some from bath and body works, other brands as well. A lot of it unused. If anyone is interested, i'll go through it all and let you know the scents. I have a ton of this stuff filling my bathroom cabinet!!

Some maternity clothes

Small mama clothes, some size 8 stuff that I really don't see myself fitting into any time soon.

A baby jungle play gym(i don't know what it is called...it is the kind of thing you put the baby on the floor and it hangs above the baby with some toys dangling from it)

A baby swing

ok that is all i can think of at the moment. :)

I use anything Bath and Bodyworks! Dd would love a different playgym. Do you know the weight capacity of the baby swing?

Okay...here goes my list :D

Ceramic cat food bowls. Painted finish, one red with kitties, one blue with kitties.

Black plastic pet food bowls. Small, probably best for a cat or small dog.

Assorted candles, all unburned! Mostly votives, but two in glass jars.

Color Fusion candle (the candle body changes colors) still in box, honeydew melon scent.

8 thank you cards, baby girl themed.

22 inch tall glass vase. Narrow top, curvy body.

10 pampers swim diapers. Size 3-4 16-34 pounds, girl.

3 unknown brand baby onsies, white, pink and yellow with butterflies. Probably size 12-18 month, but run very large.

18 month girl pants, khaki, have button legs and crotch.

12-18 month old navy cotton girl Capri pants. Green, pink , and brown.

Carters girls PJ’s. size 12 month. Short sleeve top, long pants.
*blue with polka dots and cherry on shirt
*purple with stars and moon on shirt
*purple shirt with tulips, white pants with tulips

Sleeveless Childrens Place girls sweater top. Size 12 months, but runs pretty big.Pink with white edges, and little flowers.

Baby Einstein movie (I know,I know…it was a gift)

Vicks Vaporizer with night light….used a couple times. Works, but I don’t like having to figure out the salt thing. Does NOT have instructions…but it’s in the box!

****clothes can be pawed through at the cake party...in order of PM's I guess?!?!*****

Is it OK to post animals...? Just delete this or I will if this is a nono.

My daughter is moving back to CA after she finishes school and is not planning to take her hamster with her. She said I can give it away now. It has a small pink cage with a wheel, food dish and water dispenser. We probably also have extra food and bedding. BUT, she is a nibbler. My daughter did not handle her enough when she got her is my guess. Maybe with patience and lots of adult handling she will get over it, but I want to be honest about that up front. She is probably only about 6 months old assuming she was a baby when we got her from the pet store.

Okay, I may add more, but off the top of my head, I have:

-A baby bathtub, used once
-GONE - A beautiful Moses carrier type thing. It's light blue with white polka-dots. I think it's cotton. It's washable. I used it a lot in Hawaii when Talula was a baby and we'd go to the park or beach. I'd throw all my gear in the Moses carrier, and have Talula in the sling as I was walking down to the beach or park. Then I'd have a nice clean place to change her when I needed. Other babies might take naps in it, but not Talula. So...it might be a good thing to have for people who have babies due in the spring or summer and plan to go to the beach or park without a dp to carry everything.

OK, I have quite a bit of micro fleece that is all from Malden Mills (Polartec folks) in different weights. They are all dark colors and some are light and some are heavy weight. Please let me know if you want these. I am keeping some and getting rid of some. I also have some girlish pink fleece from JoAnns and some PUL in girlier colors, I think. I think I have finally gotten rid of most of my diaper making supplies, but this stuff is hanging around and needs a good home.

I have a Combi stroller (full sized) with the bar attachment to put an infant seat on the frame that needs a little cleaning, but it is otherwise in really good condition as it was not used much. It is too big for me to lug around and both my boys walk.

I cleaned out my storage stuff yesterday and also found some other things I am getting rid of...to let folks know what I've got and you can let me know if you need/want it.

We have a glass cabinet from IKEA, like this one: http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?topcategoryId=15561&catalogId=10103&storeId=12&productId=12142&langId=-1&categoryId=15645&chosenPartNumber=20011267 except it's royal blue around the edges and has silver legs (if i can find the legs!) I can't bring it to you thought because we aren't able to use the truck right now.

Also, have a weight bench (bench press). It has been sort-of altered, but still has the main weight bench seat with a leg lift part.

I would love to give someone who can't afford one a custom pouch doll sling!

i also have a strange red brocade asian baby carrier that i think ties over the boobs, because all four straps are the same length. i was going to add onto them to make them longer at the top and more MeiTai like, but i never did. Nigel only rarely likes to be carried anymore.

I also have a rarely used baby bathtub:o.

Okay. These are some really random things that I can't figure out what to do with:

I have a few boxes of magazines. Some are lame, but some might be great for home/un schoolers too, if only for the great pictures for collage projects (2+ years of Smithsonian, UTNE, Mother Jones, and Real Simple along with random others)

I also have a supply of hand-made glass tchotchkes (http://www.geocities.com/rsatz/images/glass.jpg). I used to keep everything my glass-blower dad sent me, but it's now turned into FIVE LARGE BOXES of glass, so I'm keeping some stuff, but would love to find appreciative homes for the rest of them. If you are into home-made, hand-blown glass baubles, fish, cups, plates, um, heads, etc...

Christmas lights- lots of them older, large bulb colored ones, small colored ones. Small strands work, but some individual lights don't- probably easy 2 fix. large bulbs...don't know about.

I think I have the same strange red brocade asian baby carrier! I lengthened the bottom straps on mine. The body is kinda short too, so I actually used it a lot when Jo was a newborn. I was going to donate it to NINO, but if somebody wants it...

I also have a sharp sturdy set of knives in a block w/ a sharpener. It had kitchen shears too but they are lost, so there's an empty hole in the block.

I have a few months' worth of New Scientist magazines. I freecycled some of these last year to a homeschooling mom...I think they'd be good for that. If no one here wants them, I'll eventually freecycle them.

I need to do an inventory of my garage--I'll probably post some more stuff.

I think it would be a great thing to have an ongoing thread. Like a "Gots and Wants" (only I guess the Gots have to be separate from the Wants??).

A queen mattress set. The mattress is gently used, and the boxspring is hardly used. We can't get the boxspring up our stairs so it's been just sitting in storage. (Switching to two twin boxsprings/king mattress)

If they are comfortable to you and you like them when pregnant (not now because I think we are all sick of our maternity after we are done) don't get rid of them. If you are planning more kids that is. I got rid off all my maternity after Michael was born and then when we had Marah the style I liked was no longer being made. :( I was so upset and had to wear stuff I did not really like.

We should totally keep this open year round. :D it's brilliant.

In our continuum concept group (about 25 members) we have "naked-lady" parties at almost every gathering (once a month or more). Everyone brings whatever clothing (kids or adults) or items that they no longer want/need, and everyone else goes through it. Although we have an email list, we don't post about each thing we are offering/wanting, we just say "naked lady party!" and everyone knows to bring stuff. It's way cool, and could work well with this group too. I'm planning on bringing a bunch of stuff to the cake party, but really don't have the time to list each item here and then check PMs and see who wants it and hand it directly to them at the party...

Ok, I'm going to do this...

I have a glider rocker that we don't use, in my garage. I feel funny giving it away, because my mom gave it to me when she was dying, so I have a sentimental attachment to it, but we don't use it, and it's just sitting there. It was inexpensive to begin with, so I don't know whether it's worth the fuss of trying to sell it. Anyway, I'd feel better if it went to someone here who needed it. There's no ottoman--it came with one but I didn't like it and didn't bring it when I moved. I used a nursing stool with it, but I'm still using the stool, so you can't have it. :)

Anyone like foamy colored chemical kids' bath products (you know the kind, "GETTING CLEAN WAS NEVER SO EASY!")? Sprogly got a couple of things, a "tangerine" and a "blueberry" (one is areosol, one is not). He wants to use them in the worst way, but the smell is too strong for me.

How about a stack of New Scientist magazines?

A great, big, plastic kid's desk and chair, with a light. It's primary colors.

Several travel mugs for coffee or tea. Why people keep giving these to me, I don't know.

Avent manual breast pump, used.

That's what I can think of off the top of my head. I'm doing an inventory soon, so more to come.

Several totally unrelated things....

Any crafty moms use sequins? I have this beautiful piece of fabric that is sheer white with silver sequins. However, there is a big stain and a hole in the middle. But if somebody wanted to harvest the sequins....

A digital camera. Yes, it works, but we cannot get any good pictures out of it in dim light. Ron got our family a new one for Solstice, so this one can go.

Kid's rectangular tent. Orion loves it, but he is just getting too rough with it. It is in pretty good shape except one of the corner pieces is broken. We have taped it, but he just messes it up again. If you could find another piece like this, it would be perfect.

WOOD!!!! I mentioned this in the big thread, but now I am really making a push to get rid of some of the pieces from the tree that fell. It is cut into circular pieces and will take awhile to dry, but if you save wood and use it regularly, it would be great for you!

So we were cleaning out some boxes yesterday and I wish I could get rid of a few. If I still have them by Thursday, he's throwing them away. As in, in the garbage. I hate to throw out good things! I wish I could give away:

1 box of VHS videos. I wish someone would take the whole thing. Includes a variety of tapes including Field of Dreams, some Indigo Girls in concert, Tae Bo, one 70's unlabled porn video, Rick Steves Europe travel tips, and a bunch of others.

1+ box of binders. Empty binders of a variety of sizes. Most with the clear plastic fronts so you can add your own pictures, etc to it.

1 box of cups and saucers. 70's ish motif, brown and beige. Really nothing special, but could be handy or maybe used in a project?

Hosting an MDC playdate here on Thursday and I sure WISH I could give away some of this stuff.

I have a few big bags FULL OF KID CLOTHES!

I go on Craigslist and buy big lots of clothing... I was watching a few boys that had very little, and I needed tons of clothing for them. Now, I have clean, folded clothing overflowing my son's cabinets. I went through today and did a purge...

The clothes I have to offer are "boys" (not pink, etc - would be fine for a girl, too) ages 2 though 5, with a few up to 8 things. MOST of the stuff is 3 and 4.

I am pretty picky about what I let my son wear... but there is nothing wrong with these "cast off" clothing. Many are still in brand new condition. These are things that did not fit right on my son, or that I "did not approve of". I do not judge ANYONE that likes these clothes, it just is not my cup of tea (very boy generalizing, sports jerseys, character/action figure centered, etc).

These are CLEAN. I have washed them all and folded them nicely. They are in large paper sacks. All I ask is that you take ALL (not sort through). Craigslist or donate the ones your don't care to keep.

Again - there is NOTHING wrong with this clothing... We are just minimizing and organizing, and we have so much that we get the luxury of being choosy! Basically, if I have picked it up and passed it over more than 10 times this month, I may as well offer it up!

I wanted to see if anyone here was interested in these clothes before donating them.

Cheers!

My daughter just brought up a whole bag of stuff from cleaning out her room. It is quite a random collection. PM me if you are intersted in any of it - soon or it goes to the Goodwill.

Ganz brand small stuffed rabbit with carrot necklace and weird shower cap looking hat - great for those who celebrate Easter.

Garden Scents Fig and Pear Shower Gel

Hello Kitty Body Lotion

Several Photo Albums, small ones for single pictures -
1 Paula Brinkman with a cartoonish city street design
1 Graduation theme
1 Winnie the Pooh Holiday Happenings

Dale Latex Free Abdominal Binder - this must have been something that belonged to my mom. It is like some type of medical supply thing. On the side it says the uses are Post Surgical Support, Post Childbirth, Abdominal Support and Back Support.

Pocket sized New Testament with Psalms and Proverbs

:lol I told you it was a mixed bag!

Yeah, I've been meaning to resurrect this thread, too.

We STILL have the IKEA cabinet that I was hoping to give away before. I had several people interested, one I confirmed with, then I never found the legs to ir. I have deleted PM's and can't remember who wanted it originally.

So now I really WISH I could get rid of this cabinet before Max's birthday next weekend. Or at his birthday!?! Bt it doesn't have legs because I can't find them.

It's kind-of a cross between this (http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?topcategoryId=15561&catalogId=10103&storeId=12&productId=11638&langId=-1&categoryId=15645&chosenPartNumber=10011055) and this (http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?topcategoryId=15561&catalogId=10103&storeId=12&productId=12142&langId=-1&categoryId=15645&chosenPartNumber=20011267), but it's royal blue framing.

So much stuff...! Need to make this quick. PM me for details.

Mitsubishi TV, 40 some inches. Works but has issues. Weird kinda stripey thing down the left side. Hubby says it would take about $200 to fix, but it is worth much more. He decided to upgrade.

My daughter has officially moved to CA and left a ton of crap behind. I asked her if she wanted any of it and she said no, so... if you have a preteen or young teen and are brave enough to go into her room and look around with me, you could score! There are shoes (probably size 7-8), some clothes, a vanity mirror she decorated, a hair straightener, picture frames, it goes on and on.

Her queen mattress will be up for grabs soon, but we want to get a futon first. You can put dibs on it though, if you want. There is a basic frame with it, but I think it might be broken. (She said it was, but I haven't checked it out yet.)

I paid $60 for it a year and a half ago. There's a built-in cabinet over the toilet in my new apartment, and I have no place to store the thing, or take the time to try to sell it.

Queen mattress set, pretty decent shape. Has a Hollywood frame with it that may need a minor repair.

A nice brown leather camera bag with several pockets

An Eddie Bauer Diaper bag, but it is small. Too small for cloth diapers really, but it is a sporty little bag that doesn't even really look like a diaper bag. I have pictures of it if you PM me your email.

OK, I am just using this thread because it was the one I saw first!

I got another box of maternity shirts from a friend and have a bag I am not going to use. Alot of it is button up stuff, and that is not my style. Is there anybody that wants to go through it before I freecycle it?

As I was just gifted with a new easel, I now have my old easel that needs to leave so the spot can be free for the other... I got this from my neighbors, so it's well used. It's wooden, sturdy, one side is green for chalk, one side is supposed to be for art paper but the roller is lost. So you could clip paper to the other side. Both sides have some permanent marks, but the chalk side is very useable. It's a good sized surface, and there are trays for your implements. It's a bit heavy, but it's been a very good easel for us!

I would love to get rid of our booster-chair thing. It's got a tray that fits on it, and it straps onto a regular dining chair. You can also push it up to the table without the tray. Adjustable-height seat. My daughter used it from about 9 mos. to 3 years+. She still fits into it but refuses to use it. Very loved, but perfectly serviceable. Good for a small kitchen where you don't want a separate highchair.

I'm slowly getting rid of some gently and not-so-gently loved baby gear.

Right now I've got a walker (http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2373425) (this is exactly the one we have - but with the added benefits of some stains) and a johnny jump up (http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2267001) (this is not the one we have - picture one circa 1995) and a stroller (http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2572059) (not this one, but this brand and probably 5 years older).

Any takers??

Mostly 2T-3T, but some as small as 3-6m, 12m etc. Generally of the stretchy pants and t-shirt variety, some sundresses. Ladybug rainboots (size 8 or 9??), a couple other shoes maybe. A few GN sweatshirts/sweatpants too. Play condition in general, some have been through a couple kids. Some WAHM/handmade and good brands like Children's Place, Old Navy, etc. Please take it all, and pass on what you don't want, or if you are in N. or NE I can pick up your leftovers after you sort through and take those to GW or to the community center free table.

I also have some random small-ish fitted diapers that are very girly, made by an unknown WAHM, that were never used by me, possibly only used by one previous owner.
