I would love love love to meet other moms in my area who like to do things the way i do, as in bf'ing, cd'ing, etc. We did sleep share for three months, but after that, she wasn't sleeping well and neither were we. But I digress... I'd love to have a playgroup if anyone lives near me. I am willing to drive a ways, also. Thanks!

I've been in North Augusta for about 3 years now. I'm a 24 year SAHM of two - Morgan 5yrs and Sierra 17 mnths. I'm a very pro-breastfeeding, co-sleeping, attachment parenting, and contemplating home-schooling kinda mom. I'm also trying to find a non-vacc and AP friendly ped or homeopathic physician in the area. Would you happen to know of any around here?

According to both the Attachment Parenting International and La Leche League websites, there are branches of both groups either in or near Augusta, GA. LLL also has one in Aiken, SC. White_Tigress, LLL might be a great place to find recommendations for the type of doctor you are looking for. Good luck!

Hey Lydia and other nearby moms,

The name's Sarah Sansbury, and I live in downtown Augusta--very close to North Augusta. :) I am having my first early August (but most likely sooner). I am having through the midwives at MCG, want to breastfeed, do CD, and other natural parenting stuff.

I don't know about you... but, I am wanting to get my backyard free from kudzu and plant an awesome organic veggie/fruit garden. Perhaps when the time comes, some of you may be interested in doing a communal thing--???

i live in augusta.... okay, not in augusta but hephzibah... right outside fort gordon. i'd love to meet some of y'all! i've been going to the LLL meetings since i moved here in april and am really excited to hit the API meetings... haven't made it to that one yet.
