I had a great time!
Let me tell you...it has been a couple months since I have just sat and talked (amongst getting up and running after my kids) with other mothers, and for me, it was a needed activity for my mind. I felt really good when I got home.
Should we pick a time in January to meet? and a different location, so the others could make it?
A recap of what we did:
Katie and I got busted for not paying for a ticket on an NS train that went forward and backward lasting 20minutes to go 2KM (or something like that).
We all met at the Train museum and had introductions.
We walked around a little and went on a motorized ride on which Sarah broke :lol just kidding...she just happened to be on it when it broke, and had to be led on foot out of the exhibit.
Then we went outside so the older kids and Katie's totally confident 1.5yo could ride on the train and pull themselves accross the water on the boats - no one fell in, yay!
At lunch time we just hung out, ate, :bfs , and talked...until the one of the employees was inappropriately rude to Katie, and she had to write him up - HA!:p that'll teach 'em to mess with MDC moms.
Jennifer, thank you for providing the delicious crackers that my DD ate all of (I think I saw them at Naturwinkel a couple days later, too).
The 1.5 y/o's actually interacted a little throwing a ball around.
Then we said our goodbyes!
