I think Sage and Emma are too popular just now for my tastes. And Heaven spelled backwards, I just can't deal with that. Jillian is lovely!

Emma has been the #1 name for a couple years now... And I just read that Neveah is becoming very popular. I voted for Jillian! Nice, different enough, not in the top 10...

one of my closest friend's dd is jillian, it's a beautiful name.

and neveah is the middle name of another good friend, and i really like it.

emma is waaaaaay too popular. every other little girl at the playground is either an emma or emily.

that said...my vote is natalia. very pretty.

I like Natalia (voted), Emma or Jillian.

I have a big pet peeve with names that sound like one is trying too hard (hence, Neveah and Sage didn't get my vote).

I also voted for Jillian :)
Nevaeh I just don't get - choosing a name just because it's a word spelled backwards - not my style.
I agree that Emma is VERY popular right now and Bailey is too much of a surname/dog name for me personally.

Jillian was on our list and is still in my top 4.

I'm partial to Jillian :D

I chose Sage, dh picked Jillian. I've never known a Sage and I think it's a pretty, original name. I've known a Jillian and although she was a very nice person and went on to be a district court judge I have a hard time with associations. But those two are our favorites...

Wow, I should maybe not participate. I feel like I may be making your decision harder. I would say Jillian is my last choice. It's far to common for me. I really like Bailie or neveah. I think all childrens names should be as individual as they are.

Sorry, but I LOATHE Nevaeh. It is not a real name. It is a made up name that is a word spelled backwards! If you want to name you child Heaven, go for it, but why spell the word backwards - wouldn't that end up meaning Hell?

Of the other real names you have, I like Natalia, Jillian and Emma. I tend to prefer traditional, classic names that are gender specific. Bailie (Bailey) and Sage are a little too gender neutral for my taste.

we were going to name our baby Natalia, but we're having a boy. My dd wanted to name him Natalio, but we decided on Samuel. Have fun picking names.

I agree about Nevaeh being a little hokey for my liking. Whereas I think Heaven could make a lovely, unusual, and much more pleasingly straightforward name.

Hmm, not many on your list that I like.

Neveah reads like someone with a thick Boston accent saying "never." And now that I know the origins of Neveah, I like it even less.

Bailie makes me think of Irish Cream.

Sage is nice, but so trendy

Natalia is lovely and classic

Emma is lovely and super trendy but also classic so not likely to get dated.

Jillian - pretty, but conjures up images of a blow-dried aerobics instructor for some reason. It just has a bad, 70's tang to it.

Natalia gets my vote.

NOT NEVEAH! UGH! (BUT, if you do, at least PLEASE spell it correctly!) Honestly, I know of more than one person who recently named their daughter that and spelled it the wrong way! HUH? The whole point of the name is what it spells backward! NEVAH (and yes, they pronounced it NA-VEY-AH).

I like Jillian, and where I am from it is not at all popular. I know of one little girl and she's probably 5 or 6 now.

The word is heaven backwards, not haven backwards, but regardless, I don't care for that name either.

Natalia on the other hand is splendid. It sounds like the name of an adorable and precocious little girl.

I picked Natalia.

I personally like it better spelled with the "H," Nathalia, but either way it's a pretty eman. I mean, name ;)

I really love Emma & Jillian. I voted for Emma because it's my sweet new niece's name.

Yes, I know it's Heaven spelled backwards. I was pointing out that I know someone who spelled it NEVAH, which ISN'T Heaven spelled backwards (obviously...).

Oops, sorry. Darn internet conversations, you can never quite understand what people are trying to say.
